The week had flown by, and soon Friday arrived… Kurt hadn't shown up since the day his pursuit failed. And Lucien and his friends bought a lot of resources daily and sent most of them to William's house.
Every day after school, they stopped by. Lucien used his inventory to take some of them to Nina's house, where she was hiding them in a storage room no one in his house used. Afterward, Lucien would return to William's house once more and help his friend organize his supplies. Only then would he fill his inventory with his items and leave.
At some point, one of them suggested they all gather in one place. But they all knew that convincing their parents or other adults to believe children's chatter was impossible. So, everyone agreed to activate the radios as soon as everything started, and they even learned how to repair them in case the technology became a problem.
