Chapter 16 - chapter 16;UNEXPECTED CONFRONTATION

Chapter 16

As I followed the two girls, the world around me became a blur. We walked in silence, the only sound being the soft rustling of leaves beneath our feet. I had no idea where we were headed, but the girls seemed to know the way. They moved with a purpose, their strides long and confident.

Finally, we arrived at a mysterious location. The building loomed before us, its facade imposing and grand. The girls led me inside, and I found myself in a vast, empty space. The silence was oppressive, the only sound being the echo of our footsteps off the walls.

In the center of the room, a solitary figure sat on a chair, surrounded by the eerie silence. The two girls led me to her, and one of them gave me a gentle push in her direction. I stumbled forward, my eyes fixed on the lady.

She was stunning, with Asian features and beautiful looks. Her hair cascaded down her back like a waterfall of night, and her eyes sparkled like diamonds in the dim light. She crossed her legs, gazing at me with an air of superiority that was both captivating and unnerving.

As I stood before her, I felt like an insect under a microscope, my every move scrutinized and analyzed. Her eyes dropped to her nails, which were long and artificial, yet attractive. She raised her hand, inspecting her nails before blowing on them, as if cooling them down. The gesture was both elegant and condescending, and I felt a surge of annoyance.

I stood there, perplexed, wondering what this was all about. The lady seemed to be savoring the moment, enjoying my discomfort. Then she looked up at me, her eyes narrowing slightly. "So, you're the bitch who had guts to disrespect my oppa unh??" she said, her voice calm but with an underlying tone of displeasure.

I shook my head, confused. "I don't understand," I said, trying to piece together what was happening. Who was this lady, and who was her "oppa"? What did I have to do with any of this? The lady's gaze seemed to bore into my soul, as if searching for answers to questions I didn't even know.

"I don't know what you're talking about," I said, trying to sound calm. "Who is your oppa, and what did I supposedly do?" The lady's expression didn't change, but her eyes seemed to flash with anger. "You know exactly what I'm talking about," she said, her voice low and menacing. "Don't play dumb with me."

"Oh, you mean the king of universe who thinks he's above everybody else," I said, my voice laced with sarcasm. "Well, I must confess, you two are a match made in heaven - a heaven for idiots, clearly cut from the same cloth - and that cloth is trash."

The words had barely left my lips when, with the speed of light, the girl stood up and a slap landed on my face. I felt like I'd been hit by a freight train. For what felt like five minutes, I saw stars, my vision blurring as my head spun. The sound of the slap still echoed in my ears, and I could feel the heat radiating from my cheek.

As I stumbled backward, my hand instinctively rose to my face, cradling my cheek in a futile attempt to soothe the burning sensation. My eyes watered, and my head throbbed with pain. I blinked rapidly, trying to clear my vision, but the room seemed to spin around me like a vortex. The lady's face was a blur, but I could sense her anger and indignation.

The silence that followed was oppressive, heavy with tension. I felt like I was suspended in a state of limbo, unsure of what would happen next. The lady's voice cut through the silence, her tone icy and menacing. "You better watch your mouth!!! you have no idea who you're dealing with," she spat, her words dripping with venom.

I swallowed hard, my throat dry and constricted. My heart pounded in my chest,I knew I had to tread carefully, but my anger and hurt pride made me want to lash out.

As I stood there, my hand clutching my throbbing cheek, I locked eyes with the lady, a fierce blaze of anger and defiance burning within me. Her expression transformed, her eyes flashing with fury like a tempest about to unleash its full fury. The air seemed to vibrate with tension as she spat out her words, her voice venomous and dripping with malice.

"The guy you talked to, the guy you disrepected in the library, is my man," she hissed, her words slicing through the air like a razor-sharp knife. " I am the girlfriend of the person you insulted in the library. I have eyes everywhere, and I can see what's going on. So, you'd better mind the way you talk, because next time, I won't forgive you. You can take your trash self out of this place."

Her words were like a slap to my already sore face, the sting of humiliation and anger coursing through my veins like liquid fire. For a moment, I stood frozen, my mind reeling from the impact of her words. But then, I pretended to make my way out, playing along with her expectations like a skilled actor on stage. However, I quickly reversed direction, my movements swift and calculated. With a burst of speed, I turned back and gave the lady a resounding slap, her eyes widening in shock like a thunderclap on a stormy night.

The sound of the slap still echoed in the air as I turned and ran, my heart pounding in my chest like a drumbeat in a primitive ritual. I could hear the lady's angry voice behind me, her words echoing through the air like a curse. "Run after her!" she shouted to her girls. "Don't let her get away!" I didn't dare look back, fearing what I might see. I kept my eyes fixed on the path ahead, my legs pumping furiously as I sprinted to escape my pursuers.
