Chapter 2 - Sharvile Peak

I wave to the neighbours as I cycle past them, swerving in and out of people, pets and trees. I forgot how fast this bike was, leading to me almost crashing multiple times on the way through the village. And in a flash, I pass straight through the village, leading me out into what the community call 'Darkway's Forest', due to the dense amount of trees, which created an eerie fog effect as you pass through. I had been through here many time, so I knew the routes.

Soon, the floor became extremely bumpy, and I knew where I was now: Sharvile Base, the bottom of the mountain where the jagged rocks became a death trap for cyclists. One fall could end my life. I dodge everything as best as I can, eventually getting off my bike to walk up. It was very steep as well, mixing many challenges into one long, tiring walk.

Soon, I'm using rocks to haul myself up vertical climbs, and using the nearby vines to pulls me onto ledges. I really do need to invest in rock climbing equipment. After about thirty minutes, I make it to the peak, the outline of a guy slowly fading into view.

"Wow, you actually made it?" The deep voice said, grabbing my trembling hand and pulling me up, causing me to slam straight into his chest.

Awkward.

My trembling body slowly calmed down in his grip, his hands slowly brushing the dead grass and mud off my body.

"I thought you'd fall half way dude," He let go off me, jokingly shoving me near the edge.

"Your lucky I actually like you Jake, or I'd throw your dumb ass off this cliff," I mumble, waling over to the little campsite he'd set up for us. There's a tent on the side closest to the rockface, where he'd also set up a little campfire.

"Just for us, Luke," he giggles, wrapping his arms around me.

Jake isn't just any friend. He's my boyfriend.

He gently sways his hips, causing my body to follow his movements.

"Ready for the festival tonight, love?" he says in his usual, low voice. I blush instantly. It was very unusual for Jake to be so cute, and it's adorable.

"You like the names, Babe?" he replies to his own comment, sitting down. "Anyway, we need to set up this place. This needs to be a perfect festival. Our first time alone up here, it needs to be as spectacular as the event!"

I giggle.

"Well, it'll be spectacular anyway. You're up here," he holds me close, my head on his chest, his heartbeat rattling the structure of my body.

"You are such a bitch," I whisper.

"A Lovely bitch,"
