Chapter 2 - Sacrificial stand

Takeru's eyes blazed with determination as he stood tall, blood trickling from his mouth. "Whatever you do, don't dare to attack my siblings," he growled, his fists clenched.

The Kurokami sneered, its voice dripping with malice. "You think you can protect them? You're no match for me, mortal. I am Vespera, the Third Kurokami."

With a swift motion, Vespera swung its scythe in a wide arc, aiming for Takeru's chest. But Takeru, fueled by his life force, known as "life force," dodged the attack with incredible agility. His life force allowed him to tap into hidden reserves of strength and speed, making him a formidable opponent despite being human.

As the fight intensified, Takeru's life force -enhanced reflexes enabled him to dodge and weave between Vespera's attacks. He countered with powerful punches, his fists glowing with a faint aura as his life force amplified his physical abilities.

Vespera was taken aback by Takeru's speed and agility, but it refused to back down. The battle raged on, with Takeru determined to protect his siblings and Vespera driven by its mysterious purpose.

The battle raged on, with Takeru using every ounce of his lif force to fuel his attacks. Despite his valiant efforts, Vespera's superior strength and speed began to take its toll. Takeru stumbled back, his vision blurring, as Vespera landed an attack.....(the scythe went through Takeru's chest )

With a final surge of adrenaline, Takeru launched himself at Vespera, determined to protect his siblings at all costs. Vespera's scythe sliced through the air, striking Takeru with fatal precision. He fell to the ground, his life force fading.

As Takeru's vision dimmed, he saw Axel and Hana fleeing into the woods, safe. A faint smile crossed his lips, knowing he'd given his life to protect them.

Vespera stood over Takeru's lifeless body, its expression unreadable. "A worthy opponent," it said, before turning to leave.

The scene faded to black, with Takeru's sacrifice echoing in the silence.
