Hello. I'm MelodyCode, a newbie who recently joined the Fever Guild and participated in the selection match.
As stated in the currently trending post on the incident board, I was the one in possession of the staff that belonged to "SoSleepyYo."
However, I never wanted the weapon in the first place, and I'm truly relieved that the staff has now been returned to its rightful owner.

After hearing my voice for the first time on Discord, the guild leader kept asking me for personal information, requesting photos, and asking irrelevant questions like whether I had a boyfriend—none of which had anything to do with the game.
When I said I didn't want to answer and asked them to stop, they accused me of being too sensitive, calling me a "killjoy," and continued with similar questions.

This is the guild chat when the staff was first handed to me. As you can see in the screenshot, I felt the staff was too overpowered for a newbie like me, so I tried to decline it. But it was the guild leader who insisted and pressured me to take it.

In the end, I was forced to take the staff. After that, the guild leader kept making comments like I needed to prove I was worth the weapon, and other guild members criticized why such an expensive item was given to a newbie. Even though I never asked for it.

This was the guild chat right after I mentioned that I dropped the staff. As you can read, even if no one outright blamed me, it was clear they were displeased.
I was already planning to leave the Fever Guild, and the staff was just a burdensome item for me. So honestly, I'm grateful that SoSleepyYo came and took it back.
I've now left the Fever Guild. I have no intention of ever associating with them again.
This post is simply to share my side of the story regarding the staff. I've closed comments, and I plan to delete this post in a few days.

Thanks to MelodyCode's willing cooperation, the matter was resolved quickly.
Even "DrinkSomeWater" said they'd delay their raid plans to come right away, and other guild members who had been listening with interest began gathering in the central city to watch.

Yu Chae, who'd been glued to my side on my farm, obviously came along as well.
By the time we reached the central city plaza, loaded with a bunch of members, MelodyCode arrived around the same time and, upon spotting us from a distance, panicked and whispered to me.
[Whisper] MelodyCode: What's going on?;
[Whisper] MelodyCode: This is totally a prime-time guild
[Whisper] MelodyCode: Looks like both the guild master and vice-master are here
[Whisper] MelodyCode: Why are there so many people??
[Whisper] SoSleepyYo: ?
[Whisper] SoSleepyYo: People who wanted to see you came along
[Whisper] MelodyCode: What did I do to make anyone want to see me;;

[Whisper] MelodyCode: True lol, this is super awkward though
[Whisper] SoSleepyYo: If you're uncomfortable, we can talk separately
[Whisper] MelodyCode: Nah, I'm fine
Though she seemed hesitant at first, MelodyCode came up without much complaint.
Since it was the busy central plaza with lots of players coming and going, I opened the party window to make conversation easier. MelodyCode read the mood and joined the party, greeting us first.

I blinked slowly a few times after reading MelodyCode's chat.
What's with that perky greeting and those emojis? Was she always like that?

Her attitude was completely different from how she acted with me, so I whispered to her in disbelief.

Well damn. Now I finally understood why GuguOtter, who was spying for the Fever guild, said MelodyCode had a good and kind personality.
Yeah, fair enough. That side of her probably avoids making unnecessary enemies. Smart choice.

While thinking that, I glanced at Yuchae, who was stuck to me like glue.
Come to think of it, there's someone here who desperately needs social skills. I was starting to get curious—what kind of life had Yuchae lived to end up with such a bullheaded personality?
Maybe he grew up as the cherished youngest child in some ultra-rich family? Otherwise, how could he get away with doing whatever he wanted?

…Since when were they on a first-name, unnie-dongsaeng basis? The vibe was so friendly I figured it might not be a bad idea to invite MelodyCode to the guild—if she agreed.
And that's when it happened.
