(Jayden's PoV)
Master Qui-Gon Jinn told us everything that happened since he and his padawan, Kenobi were sent as diplomats to the Trade Federation.
He told us how the Federation destroyed their escort and how the two escaped to Naboo, where they met Jar-Jar and with the help of Gungans, they were able to reach Theed, but found the Queen captive by droids.
It was easy for them to deal with the droids, and rescue the Queen.
He told us how they escaped Naboo with the Queen and a few of her guards and maids. Also, the fact that their ship was hit while escaping, forcing them to land for emergency repairs.
He then told us what happened in Watto's Shop. The shop has parts needed by them, but they lack the necessary credits. Here, Republic Credits are no good. One needs other goods to barter or the Huttese Credits.
As Jinn explained the details, my master and I looked at the shop.
The Toydarian was still inside, while the boy had just exited the shop. First time seeing the Chosen One.
I would love to have the chosen one in my army, but I don't want to get entangled with the Sith too early. Even if I try to keep him a secret, they will eventually find him, as long as he starts your training.
Though the Force is shielding him for now, once he grows, the Sith would definitely feel his presence.
"Sorry, Anakin, I have to let what happened in the original plot to happen as it was with you for now", I apologised for letting the plot happen.
It was not just to not draw Sith's attention prematurely but there was another reason. He would be my shield from them.
When I was young, they were busy with other things like the Eriadu Conference and then the Naboo Invasion.
So, they paid less attention to me till now. Also, it was after this crisis, that the clone army begins its production. Count Dooku has yet to embrace the dark side fully.
For now, he was on the edge, and it was Qui-gon Jinn's death that pushed him over the brink, and then led to the death of Yaddle.
Only later did he take the name of Darth Tyranus.
It was almost at this period that Sifo Dyas was used to create a clone army and then eradicated. They were busy, but they would be free, well, Palpatine would be free.
After the crisis ends, he would become Supreme Chancellor, and then he would kill his master. After that, he would have a lot of time to meddle with the Jedi Order and the Republic, to slowly activate his assets, creating CIS, which was used as a stepping stone to becoming the Emperor.
He would have a decade to watch everyone in the Jedi Order and try to assess who would need to be eliminated early to prevent his plans from failing and who could be used as temporary servants for his cause.
It was all done, even with Anakin's presence, and if he were absent, it would be pretty troublesome, especially with what I am thinking for later.
Anankin's presence as the chosen one would divert most of his attention away from me. If not, as someone who has the highest Midichlorian count, second to only Yoda as per present Jedi Records, Palpatine would surely turn his eyes on me.
So, I am going to turn their attention towards Anakin.
"Sorry, I would make up in some other way", I promised internally, but for now, I need to draw Jinn's attention to Anakin.

I watched the boy with frown, as if he was creating doubts in my mind. I needed to act that way to rise doubts about the boy.
"What is it, Jayden?" my master asked me, as she looked at my frowning face.
"Master, I sense a strong force connection, emitting from the boy", I pointed at Anakin who just exited the shop.
Qui-gon Jinn felt intrigued by my words. He was just inside, and he felt nothing. Sure, it was just a few seconds, but for a master like him, that should have been enough. Curious, he concentrated on the boy, and that's when he felt it.
A force connection like never before. This is much higher than what he felt when he was with Master Yoda.
Jinn frowned at the revelation. He was just there, but he didn't feel the connection before. He knew from whom the power was radiating; he should have thought it as soon as he entered the world at the least.
He met the boy a minute ago, even though for a few seconds, it should have been enough to feel the boy's connection to the force, especially with one on such a level, but he didn't. It was as if the force was shielding him, guarding him from others.
Why the force was doing that, he has no idea.
There were people in the Jedi Temple, fellow Jedis who could sense the next generation of the Jedi, but none had ever sensed this boy. Even near him, he didn't sense, until he checked on purpose.
They all failed, and so did he, even when he was close enough to the boy.
I can see the determination on his face, vowing to himself to find why that is so. He must have some theories, but he didn't express them, as speaking without verifying is ignorance. He can prove what he theorised.
