Mistakes I have made:
Flooding the living room
When I as a kid, my sister and I thought it would be a good idea to basically flood the living room. We pushed all the furniture to the side and then dumped water in the middle. All of this was on tile so it became very slippery. This was our plan, flood the living room then slide around. If I am being honest that was all fun but the mistake was trying to slide on my knees. After doing about 10 times started hurting then I regretted it.
Moral lesson: Its alright to do stupid things, just make sure you don't hurt yourself.
Cooking cup of noodles
When I as a kid, my older brother asked me to make him a cup of noodles. At the time I don't know if I was just tired or out of my mind but I forgot to take the plastic off and just put it straight into the microwave. Lucky for me it was my brother that got in trouble but the house smelled like it was burnt for a few days.
Morale lesson: If you ask a kid to do something then make sure they can do it right.
Cutting my stuff animals hair
When I as a kid, I had the fantastic idea of cutting my stuff animals hair. I don't remember why though. Maybe I thought it was growing to long or something. However this all lead up to a big mess of stuff animals hair. This lead me to having a large scolding from my mother I would never forget.
Moral lesson: If you make a mess, clean it up before you get in trouble, don't wait for others.
Bowling
Recently I have gone bowling with a lot of my family. That it self was not the mistake. The mistake was when it was my turn, I accidentally let go of the ball behind me and almost hit my 7 year old niece. My heart felt like it stopped for a moment.
Moral lesson: When bowling, make sure you have a good grip.
Sword fighting with wrapping paper
When I as a kid, my sister and I would have sword fights with the Christmas wrapping paper. However this would cause the wrapping to become bent and damaged. This was a mistake because our mom became so furious because we messed with the wrapping we were going to use as gifts.
Moral lesson: When sword fighting don't use something you well use later or something too weak.
Sword fighting with skewers
When I as a kid, my sister and I thought it would be a good idea to sword fight with skewers. It actually worked out pretty well. They were sturdy and had handels, they even looked similar to swords. The only problem was that they were sharp. While sword fighting I got cut, it wasn't big or anything, but there was a little bit of blood. The blood made me think that it was end of the world.
Moral lesson: The only real mistake is that you should not sword fight with sharp objects unless you have armor. If you have armor then it is all fine.
Not being careful with glass
In family, I do the dishes and wash the laundry most of the time. In my house the washer and dryer are in the kitchen close to the sink so sometimes when the cabinet is full of Tupperware I would put it on top of the washer. One time I put my mom's glass Tupperware on the washer, so when I did the clothes I did not notice so later when I heard a crash I did not expect the glass Tupperware to fall over and just shatter.
Moral lesson: Place and handle glass with care.
