What do you when you’re saved by the enemy? What do you do when the one that swore to protect you leads you to the hands of your enemy? What do you do when you begin to question every truth you’ve been told and the world you’ve lived in since birth begin to crumble before your eyes? What do you do when you realize you hold the power to destroy or rebuild?


These are the questions that Nova will have to answer as she is thrust into a world far beyond her comprehension. The veil is lifted and for the first time in her life Nova can finally see the the world for what it is. She finally sees herself, not as a broken wolfless omega, but as something much more powerful—much more important. With an unresolved prophecy and the fate of the world lying on her shoulders; Nova must decide where her loyalty lies: with the pack that cast her aside, the mate who shattered her trust, or with the enemy who offers her a chance at freedom and power.

But every choice comes with a price. And Nova will soon learn that the line between savior and destroyer is thinner than she ever imagined.

True to his word, Kain took the longer route home.


The evening breeze chimed past Nova's ears, a soothing melody against the hum of the engine as she sank deeper into the premium leather seat. The bittersweet taste of dark fudge and rich hazelnut still lingered pleasantly on her tongue, a stark contrast to the bitter encounter they had just left behind. The chocolate plaza experience had undoubtedly been the most exquisite culinary delight she had ever tasted—surpassing even Lena's famous almond treats from the outskirts.


"Thank you so much, Kain," she murmured softly. Shifting in her seat, she leaned sideways, resting her head against his solid shoulder as he drove. A profound sense of safety washed over her, wrapping around her bruised heart like a warm blanket.


Kain briefly tore his gaze away from the winding road, leaning down to press a tender kiss to the crown of her head. "Don't mention it, milady. I enjoyed the date simply because you were by my side."
