And to think this all happened just weeks after he started training under Manor? He's left me in the dust. I seriously need to buckle up.' Dapper thought, clenching his fists in silent determination.
Suddenly, Shinro approached him, giving him a playful jab with a smug grin stretched across his face.
"How did I do?" he asked, flashing a wide, toothy smile.
"You did better than I expected," Dapper replied, forcing a smile of his own, still clearly stunned.
Just then, the machine flickered again, displaying the next two names.
"The next round is Romulus vs Ban," Old Man Manor announced.
