However, right before Alya could kill Sayaka, she hears someone screaming through the call.
"OI! ALYA!! ALYA!!! CAN YOU HEAR ME!?"
Alya recognizes the familiar voice all too well.
It's the voice of her beloved man, Masachika.
"...Masachika?" Alya replied to his voice.
"THAT'S ENOUGH! DON'T KILL THEM!!" Masachika screamed at her, trying to bring her back to her senses.
"They are our enemies now." Alya retorted. "They have made their stance clear."
Masachika pleaded to Alya, "Stop it, Alya..."
"I get it... Killing your enemies felt really good... Aida is probably giving you immense satisfaction from that..."
"...But they are our friends! Just bring them here and return to me..."
"Please... Don't turn into someone who kills everyone opposing Oracle..."
"Alya... Listen to me..."
Alya slowly takes her sword out of Sayaka.
Sayaka and Nonoa can only stare in confusion.
"Why is Alya deciding to spare us now? Are they trying to get information out of us?" Sayaka thought to herself while recovering from Alya's stab from earlier on the floor.
"...I understand. I will bring them back to rendezvous right now." Alya responded.
"...Thank you, Alya." Masachika replied as he leans back on the car seat.
Yuki immediately sets her car up while saying, "Ayano, get dressed and get ready on your car. We are leaving immediately as soon as Alya arrive here!"
"Understood." Ayano responded as she quickly dresses up and stand by in her car.
Alya quickly ties them up using her disguise from before.
"If you break free from your bondage before I permit you two, I'll kill you both."
Nonoa and Sayaka nods in compliance while crying.
"Y-yes... Anything you say..." Nonoa said to Alya.
She then tinkered with Sayaka's rifle and Nonoa's spear for a while, reverting them back to their original state.
"I'm taking these weapons back. Now, stay still." Alya said while carrying Sayaka and Nonoa out of the Cloud Generator plant in complete darkness.
Sayaka and Nonoa can only stare in awe at how strong Alya has become.
"...Damn it, are we getting our brains probed? Are they going to convert us into terminators like how they converted Alya?" Sayaka thought to herself.
After arriving at their parking spot and rendezvous, Alya throws the bound Nonoa and Sayaka into Ayano's car.
"Welcome back, Alya-san... No, Alya."
"Kimishima-san! Fuck, to think I thought you died in your duty for A3!!" Sayaka said while looking at Ayano with disgust.
"Fucking traitor!" Nonoa said while spitting on Ayano.
"Silence. Make any more noise and you will stay silent forever." Alya threatened them.
Both Nonoa and Sayaka froze in silence during their ride inside Ayano's car to the ferry.
Suddenly, Sayaka's phone starts ringing.
Alya grabs the phone and points her rifle at Sayaka.
"Answer properly like there's nothing wrong." Alya said, coercing her.
Sayaka nods, and Alya proceeds to pick the call up while turning on the loudspeaker.
"Yes, who is this? How can I help you?" Sayaka said to the phone, trying to not give her current predicament away.
"Pull back immediately. Cancel the plan. Join the main force in New Atagohama."
"I'm starting a hunt right now. There's something very important in New Nokonoshima that I have come to retrieve personally."
It's the filtered voice of the masked man, the leader of the Central Cabinet.
"How in the world is he here? Did he know about our plan?" Alya thought to herself.
Alya muted the call for a bit and tells Sayaka, "Tell him you are coming there through the ferry, tagging along with Ayano."
Alya unmuted the call and lets Sayaka speak again. "Okay. We are tagging along with Kimishima-san too on her car. Please make sure the ferry is allowed to dock back at New Meinohama ferry port."
"...You are compromised, aren't you, Administrator?" The masked man stated, seeing through her lies.
Sayaka quickly replies to him, hoping she could escape Alya's shot and his suspicion "No, no! We are not! We are just tired and sleepy! She's just giving us a lift-"
But before Sayaka could finish her sentence, he responded "I felt something is wrong, so I tested you."
"You lost composure immediately, something that's unlike the real Administrator of Treasury and Accounting always have maintained."
"Whether you are an impostor or the real deal trying to trick me, it doesn't matter. Goodbye."
Sayaka desperately screamed to her phone, "WAIT LEADER!! I AM-"
The masked man ended the call.
"What a shame." Alya said while taking her sword out.
"F-forgive me... I tried my best... Please, don't kill me..." Sayaka begged Alya for her life, sniffling and crying in fear.
Alya swings her sword at Sayaka.
However, she instead cuts Sayaka out of her bondage.
"...Huh?" Sayaka uttered while staring at Alya in confusion.
"A3 have forsaken you. I'll now offer you a choice, Taniyama-san." Alya said while giving Sayaka her rifle back.
"Fight with us or perish on that masked bastard's hand."
"...Alright." Sayaka said reluctantly,
"You will not regret this, I'm sure of it." Alya replied to Sayaka.
Alya then opens the car door for Sayaka. "Go to the second car and protect it."
"Also, Masachika belongs to me. Don't you ever forget that." Alya added.
Sayaka steps out of Ayano's car and goes inside the other, only to find the 2 people she admired the most.
"...Suou-san? Kuze-san?"
"Hey there, Taniyama-san. Welcome to the team" Yuki greeted her with a devious smile.
"Good evening. I'm sorry I couldn't stop Alya sooner..." Masachika greeted her while apologizing for the injury she sustained.
"...Jackpot." Sayaka thought to herself while smiling happily.
"I'm defecting from A3 to your side." Sayaka said to them with a bright face.
"We will tell you everything later. But right now, we have to get away from them." Yuki told her while handing her a recovery item.
Sayaka then enters Yuki's car and prepares to depart.
Meanwhile, in Ayano's car...
"Hey, Alya-chi... Are you going to let me go too?" Nonoa said to Alya.
"Don't act like you are my friend, wench. I know you don't wish to help us" Alya replied as she kicks her face, making Nonoa falls unconscious.
Yuki then calls Alya and asks her, "How's preparation in the other car?"
"All green. However, the masked man is waiting for us in New Meinohama ferry port." Alya replied.
"That's a bad fucking news..." Yuki said to her. "What should we do about that?"
"They will notice the ferry going off-course so we can't really move around... meaning we can't use it to escape by water..." Masachika added.
"...That means, someone has to distract their pursuit squad." Yuki said, knowing her brother came to the same conclusion as her.
"I'll do it." Alya said, volunteering herself.
"That's madness! That masked man can fight even Nagisa's mentor!" Masachika said loudly, concerned over Alya's well being
Sayaka can only wonder who Nagisa could be.
"I'm not going to fight him. I'm just going to run away from him and distract him."
"This way, they also won't find out that Yuki is a Liberator."
"I'll join you both later in the car shuttle train, I promise."
"Please trust me, Masachika."
Alya indeed has the highest chance of surviving the pursuit. But Masachika couldn't stand that there's a risk of losing Alya again after everything they have done together.
He looked down anxiously, trying to think of another way they can get out of New Nokonoshima safely.
"This is the best solution we can come up with for now. But..." Yuki said while grabbing her brother's sleeves, trying to speak some reason into him.
"Don't worry about it too much, big bro! Alya is tough. Even near death, she returned to you." Yuki reasoned, trying to ease his worries.
"Have some faith in her ability! She's like, the main heroine character of your life story! Her plot armor will protect her!" Yuki said, trying to convince him to agree while easing his worries.
Masachika remembered that Yuki had to gamble the life of their son back then when they met Nagisa.
And now, he has to gamble the life of Alya's life.
Despite his anxiety, he finally speaks up with steeled resolve, "...You're right.", agreeing with his sister. "I'll trust you both."
"Alya, please return safely to me. Don't keep me waiting."
"I understand." Alya said to reassure him. "Thank you for supporting me."
"That's the confident brother I know and love! Now, let's get this getaway operation running!"
After everyone's prepared, they depart to the New Nokonoshima ferry port.
Ayano and Yuki drove their car manually past through the security checkpoints into the ferry, hijacking it.
Several coast guard boats surround the ferry on its way to New Meinohama ferry port.
As they approach their destination, Masachika tells everyone (except Nonoa) their plan in detail.
"They don't know about Yuki being here, and we definitely want her to stay in the Central Cabinet."
"So, we will go into two groups: The decoy group in Ayano's car and the retreating group in Yuki's car."
"Right before the ferry properly dock, the decoy group will run away and make A3 chase them so the retreating group can reach the car shuttle train in Hakataminami station safely."
"After losing the pursuit from A3 force, the decoy group will also board the car shuttle train, preferably with the retreating group"
"Now... Alya has volunteered herself to go on the decoy group. Who's next?"
"Nonoa is a good hostage, so she goes into the decoy group." Yuki said while grinning.
Surprisingly, no one is against it.
"...No one cares what would happen to her? Not even you, Taniyama-san?" Yuki asked, feeling bad like she just bullied Nonoa when she's not listening.
"...It's a long story. I'll tell you about it later." Sayaka replied.
Ayano stands up and volunteered herself by saying, "I'll go with Alya-"
But before Ayano could finish her sentence, Sayaka interrupted her. "Let me go instead. Drive-by are-"
"I mean, long range attacks are more useful when trying to get away from a pursuit."
"...Taniyama-san's right. You are probably going to shoot barricades and pursuing vehicles. Her windshots might prove useful." Masachika said, taking Sayaka's suggestion
"Then it's decided! The decoy group members are Nonoa, Sayaka, and Alya!" Yuki declared.
As soon as the ferry starts docking itself to New Meinohama ferry port, A3 soldiers surround the ferry.
The masked man watches everything unfolds from inside an armored vehicle far away.
However, as soon as the ferry is only meters away, Alya drives Ayano's car from the deck down to the port, surprising everyone.
"...There they are. I can sense what I need is inside that fleeing car." The masked man said to Chisaki. "We have to capture them."
Chisaki who is sitting near the masked man gasped in disbelief, saying "Isn't that... Kimishima-san's car!?"
"It's highly likely that the aliens have killed them before, then revived them through some sort of cyber-necromancy technology into their cyborg slaves." The masked man said to her.
"Damn them... DAMN THEM ALL TO HELL!! STOP TAKING EVERYONE I KNOW AWAY YOU ALIEN SCUMS!!" Chisaki cursed angrily and loudly, her expression turned bitter as she grips her weapon tightly.
Upon hearing Chisaki's profanity, the masked man grabbed both her shoulders to calm her down.
"Calm your tits- I mean, calm yourself, Lead Enforcer of the Law. If they get you riled up, then they already won a part of the battle."
"If they utilize your wrath against you, then our disadvantage will only grow bigger."
Chisaki takes several deep breaths, collecting her calm. "...I understand, leader."
"Thank you, sir. I really needed that."
"It's just like how he-"
However, before she can finish her sentence, the masked man slaps the dashboard of the car.
"Get your foot on the pedal already! Get us close so we can capture them!" The masked man yelled, reminding her of their task.
"Oh right! At once, leader!" Chisaki said as she pursues Ayano's car.
"Oh boy, they are shooting the helicopter and cars away... Sayaka's windshots made short work of them." Chisaki commented, seeing the wreckage around them while chasing them.
"They are also trying to avoid death on every soldier... What's going on?" Chisaki thought to herself.
"Pay them no mind. Focus on the task at hand."
"...Yes sir." Chisaki replied, focusing on getting close on Ayano's car.
Meanwhile, at the ferry port...
After making sure there is no one around, Yuki carefully drives her car out to their rendezvous point at Hakataminami train station.
"...So far so good. I hope they can escape the pursuit safely."
"Relax, big bro. You saw how Taniyama-san's wind rifle and Alya's rifle easily made quick work of them right?" Yuki answered him, trying to reassure him.
"Have some faith and confidence in them."
"...Yeah, you're right. You really hit my nervous system with your confident system, Yuki." Masachika replied with a corny joke, making his sister giggle.
Ayano then asks, "How about leader- I mean, the masked man?"
"I do still feel anxious about him..." Yuki said, admitting that he's a big threat to the decoy group.
"But I trust Alya can handle him! She took down both Nonoa and Sayaka!" She added.
Masachika then got an idea. "Yuki, can you call the dealer?"
Yuki's eyes widened as she realizes what her brother is trying to do. "...I see. Alright, let's see if he can help us out."
Back at Ayano's car...
Sayaka who's shooting her wind rifle out of the car window asked Alya, "This is easier than I thought!"
"How the hell are you shooting at our enemies? Aren't you supposed to drive the car!?"
"I linked the car to my AI core. I can drive this car without even touching it." Alya said while shooting her rifle, trying to aim her shots to stop the pursuers vehicle safely.
"This is fucking insane! We were trying to kill each other not even an hour ago, and now we are both evading the military together!" Sayaka said while keep shooting, her sound muffled by the wind.
"Life's pretty funny sometimes!"
"Less chatting, more aiming and shooting!" Alya replied, reprimanding Sayaka to focus on the task at hand.
Nonoa is still unconscious and bound and therefore can't join the conversation or act.
Suddenly... an armored military vehicle appears from an intersection blocking their way.
It's an APC (Armored Personnel Carrier) with a cannon and a pair of gatling guns.
Alya immediately performs a sharp U-turn and drives away as Sayaka quickly shoots the guns off the vehicle.
"Damn it! Taniyama-san's intellect and wit... Those alien scums stole her from us!" Chisaki said while stepping on the gas pedal harder.
The masked man jumps out of the window and points his sword to the car.
"I wonder who is shooting using that rifle that shoots blue balls..." The masked man said before jumping to slice Ayano's car.
However, Alya immediately jumps out and counters the masked man's slash with her sword, sending him back to the APC.
"Ah... It's you again, former Administrator of Mass Media. Nice to meet you again." The masked man said while waving at her casually.
The provoked Alya points her sword at him, speaking to him with an angry fiery tone, her mind filled to the brim with vengeance.
"...you masked bastard. You will pay for all your wrongdoings!"
"YOU WILL PAY FOR WHAT YOU DID TO ME IN NEW OSAKA!!"
