Nami dodged Saint Charlos' bullet using her Slip-Slip Fruit powers. Then, without warning, and to everyone's shock, she raised her iron staff and swung it down with full force at him!
"No—stop!!"
Screams broke out in every direction.
But just before her staff could land—
CLANG!
Two thick metal bars shot out from behind, forming a massive circular cage that blocked her path. It didn't trap her, but it was enough to stop her advance.
The one who acted was none other than Rear Admiral Hina.
"Hina-senpai, why are you stopping me?!"
Hina's face had gone pale.
"Nami, don't do this! That's a Celestial Dragon!"
"You have no idea what happens if you lay a hand on one!"
Nami fired back, furious.
"He murdered someone in broad daylight—and was about to take both of us with him!"
"Scum like that deserves to die!"
Hina clenched her fists. She didn't disagree. But the truth was, they couldn't afford the fallout.
Touching a Celestial Dragon meant the Marines would send an Admiral. The World Government would retaliate—and anyone involved would be hunted across the world.
Death would be a mercy compared to what would follow.
Even though Hina blocked Nami, Charlos was already seething.
"Why isn't that filthy girl dead yet?!"
"And she tried to hit me?! Me, a Celestial Dragon?!"
"I don't care—kill her!"
"If you don't, everyone here dies!"
The Marine guards froze—but they knew better than to defy a Celestial Dragon.
"Y‑Yes, my lord!"
"You two, surrender now!"
"Are you trying to get us all killed?!"
Even the civilians, who moments ago had been worried for Nami, started turning on her. They didn't want to die. If that meant sacrificing Nami and Hina—so be it.
Nami's eyes welled up.
"Hina-senpai… why is the world like this…"
Hina clenched her jaw, helpless. She was older. She understood just how rotten the world really was.
"Nami, you can't touch a Celestial Dragon. If you do…"
"It won't just be us. Even Chiyu-sama and everyone aboard the Uchiha would be killed…"
Nami was stunned. Her tears rolled silently down her face.
"Then… what are we supposed to do…?"
Hina bit her lip and whispered in despair.
"I don't know…"
At that moment, the Marines came forward with seastone cuffs, ready to shackle them both and leave them to Charlos' mercy. Once cuffed, Devil Fruit users lose all power and become weaker than average people.
Charlos sneered.
"Can I kill them now?"
A Marine answered hesitantly.
"Yes, sir… They're Devil Fruit users, but the seastone cuffs are on. They're completely helpless now."
"Good!" Charlos laughed.
"Let's see you insult me now!"
"You scum don't deserve to live!"
He raised his pistol to fire again.
Everyone gasped, shielding their eyes.
And then—
CRACK-BOOM!
A massive bolt of lightning exploded from the sky and slammed into Charlos with violent force!
The impact fried him instantly—his body charred black, smoking.
This so-called "most noble being," bathed in unmatched privilege—was nothing in the face of divine judgment.
In one strike, Saint Charlos was vaporized.
And the one who did it—
Uchiha Chiyu.
He didn't care if you were a Celestial Dragon.
Didn't care if you were a world noble.
Didn't care how much power you had.
He. Would. Kill. You.
No hesitation.
Just justice.
The entire street froze. Dead silence.
Chiyu stood amidst the fading thunder, in front of Hina and Nami.
No one could even process what had just happened.
Even Shakky, watching from a bar window, dropped her cigarette in shock.
"He… actually did it?"
"Is he insane?!"
"Even Rayleigh wouldn't go that far…"
And then chaos erupted.
"What have you done?!"
"You killed a Celestial Dragon?!"
"Do you realize what kind of crime that is?!"
"We're all screwed! The World Government's gonna wipe out this whole island!"
"Run! We're dead!"
People screamed and scattered in panic.
Even the guards stood stunned. This wasn't just rebellion—it was the unthinkable.
Someone had actually killed a Celestial Dragon.
In the 800 years since the World Government's founding, nothing like this had ever happened.
"A Celestial Dragon is dead!"
"Alert Marine HQ and Mary Geoise NOW!"
"This is an unprecedented global crisis!"
"We need an Admiral immediately!"
The guards sent the emergency signal.
But Chiyu? He didn't care.
If a man like that could do evil in front of him with no consequence—
Then what was the point of existing?
If he didn't strike that monster down, he wasn't Uchiha Chiyu.
Hina and Nami were stunned—relieved—but terrified.
"Chiyu-sama!"
Chiyu turned to the Marines.
"Take off their cuffs."
"B‑But…"
"I'm not repeating myself."
The guards recognized him.
"That's… the Marines God of Slaughter… Uchiha Chiyu…"
"If he dared kill a Celestial Dragon, we're nothing to him. Do what he says!"
"Y‑Yes sir!"
They unlocked the cuffs. Hina and Nami, now free, were still shaken.
"Chiyu-sama, killing a Celestial Dragon… there's no coming back from this…"
"You've crossed the line."
Chiyu just said:
"Then it's crossed."
A jolt ran through both of them.
A warm surge, like electricity, from head to toe.
"I understand now…" Hina whispered.
"If you're standing against the world—then I'm with you."
"I'll follow you forever."
Nami nodded, eyes burning.
"Me too!"
Just then, Franky and the others arrived—confused by the heavy atmosphere.
"What happened?!"
Hina shook her head.
"No time. We're heading to the Uchiha. Set sail now!"
"Got it!" Franky responded.
But Chiyu didn't move.
"It's too late."
"They're already here."
Everyone's blood ran cold.
…
Marineford – Marine HQ
"What did you just say?!"
Fleet Admiral Sengoku shot up from his seat, visibly shaken.
"Sengoku, calm down!" Garp barked.
"Nearly dropped my apple!"
Vice Admiral Tsuru frowned.
"I've never seen Sengoku like this… What the hell happened?"
Even the Three Admirals looked uneasy. None of them had ever seen Sengoku panic.
He put down the Den-Den Mushi, face pale, eyes wide.
"What is it?"
"What happened?" someone asked.
"A Celestial Dragon… was killed."
Garp blinked.
"Huh? One of those rotten nobles?"
"Garp, shut up!" Tsuru snapped.
"Sengoku—what happened?!"
He forced himself to stay calm—but sweat was running down his face.
"Saint Charlos… was killed."
The room exploded.
Even Kizaru, usually indifferent, widened his eyes.
"No way… He really did it? That guy's terrifying…"
Aokiji's expression turned serious.
"This isn't like dealing with the Warlords or CP9 anymore…"
Akainu's heart thudded.
He hadn't agreed with Chiyu's methods. They had gone their separate ways.
But now… he felt something else:
Respect.
"Uchiha Chiyu… actually did it?"
"I seriously underestimated that man."
Then he stood up.
"There's no turning back now."
"I'll go handle it myself."
Everyone went stiff.
Akainu Sakazuki was going to personally take down Uchiha Chiyu.
This wasn't just a crisis—
This was going to shake the entire world.
