Chapter 212 - Chapter 212-48: Two Warlords Death!

At this point, Gecko Moria was already on his last legs.

Rear Admiral Hina was burning with righteous fury—not just over Moria's crimes, but also as a declaration of her unwavering loyalty to Chiyu.

She knew it well: Chiyu-sama had always followed his own path of justice. And now, she shared that belief wholeheartedly.

Even if it meant going against Navy HQ or defying the World Government itself—she didn't care anymore.

Because clearly, not every government order was just.

The fact that monsters like Crocodile and Gecko Moria could become "official allies" of the World Government, abusing their titles and committing atrocities, made one thing obvious: the Warlord system was a joke.

But Chiyu's decisions? They had never been wrong.

And she wouldn't let him carry this burden alone any longer. This time, she would be the one to take action—to kill Gecko Moria herself and show the world, and her comrades, just how loyal they were to Chiyu-sama.

For the first time, she dropped the formal "Rear Admiral" and called him simply—Chiyu-sama.

And in that moment—

"Feathered Cage!"

Hina pushed her power to the limit. Two massive iron bars shot out, forming a huge prison that slammed down around Moria, locking his massive body in place.

Even Armament Haki was laced into the bars to hold him down.

Moria's eyes went wide in panic. He struggled, but couldn't break free.

"Attack!" Hina commanded.

Everyone launched their attacks at once.

Franky's right arm detached and fired off with brutal force.

"Strong Iron Fist!"

Brook drew his sword and struck with precision.

"Three Humming Style! Swallowtail Slash!"

Blade the Elephant-Swordsman swung his saber hard.

"Elephant Slash!"

Box unleashed his Giraffe Fruit powers.

"Giraffe Cannon!"

Barbara triggered her Devil Fruit ability.

"Bubble Tsunami!"

And on top of that, every Marine—and every member of the Victims' Alliance—unleashed everything they had, pouring their strength down on Moria like a tsunami.

BOOOOM!!!

BOOM!!!

Even someone like Moria couldn't take this. Faced with a barrage like that, he was torn to shreds in seconds—bloodied, battered, and full of wounds.

Shadows burst from his mouth again as his body shrank rapidly, like a balloon deflating. He returned to his original human form.

But now, his injuries were more horrifying than ever. Blood gushed from his body. He collapsed to the ground, completely drained.

Hina stepped forward, voice cold.

"Gecko Moria. You lost yourself a long time ago. You relied on borrowed power and did unspeakable things. Now you die, all alone. This is your justice."

Moria's eyes rolled back. He could no longer see anything.

"…Justice, huh?"

"…Maybe it is…"

"But I had comrades too… Sorry, everyone. I'll see you… in the next world…"

With that, Gecko Moria took his final breath.

And the stolen shadows all returned to their owners.

Joy and cheers erupted instantly.

Hina let out a breath. It was finally over.

She turned to her fellow Marines. They each gave her a solemn nod.

Together, they had taken down a Warlord.

And not just that—they'd done it against direct orders from the World Government.

Which meant…

There was no turning back now.

Only one road left:

Follow Chiyu-sama. No matter what.

BOOOOOM!!!

A new, even stronger shockwave hit.

Everyone turned toward the epic battle unfolding between Chiyu-sama and Bartholomew Kuma.

Kuma wasn't just strong—his shockwaves were like bombs. And with his Devil Fruit power, he could literally launch himself through space, teleporting instantly.

Despite his hulking, machine-like body, he was incredibly agile and fast. Add in those shockwaves, and he was a nightmare opponent.

But his opponent was Chiyu.

Chiyu could unleash lightning even more powerful than Kuma's shockwaves.

He became lightning—faster than anything, impossible to track.

With his Sharingan, Observation Haki, and Navy's Six Powers—Soru and Geppo—Chiyu's movement was faster, sharper, and more unpredictable than Kuma's.

The two of them were pure blur—flashing across the battlefield, leaving behind only streaks of lightning and shockwaves.

No one could keep up visually.

Only the explosions told the story of their clash.

The massive ship Thriller Bark had already reached its limit. Now, under this fight, it was crumbling piece by piece.

Hina looked at the ship tilting into the sea and made her call.

"All Marines! Evacuate to the Uchiha now! That's an order!"

"But—Hina! What about Chiyu-sama?" Nami shouted.

Hina smiled calmly.

"Don't worry, Nami. He'll be fine."

"If we stay, we'll only slow him down."

Nami hesitated—but she knew it was true.

Too often, Chiyu had taken direct hits just to protect them.

She nodded, then took off with the others, sprinting toward the Uchiha.

The Victims' Alliance followed, rushing back to their own ships.

In moments, only Chiyu and Kuma remained aboard the doomed Thriller Bark.

"…Your people are loyal to the core," Kuma remarked, eyes landing on Moria's corpse.

Chiyu replied evenly, "Not as loyal as you are to the World Government."

Kuma gave a faint, bitter smile.

But he wasn't done yet.

He raised his hands—finally using his trump card:

"Ursus Shock!"

It was the peak of his Paw-Paw Fruit power—layer upon layer of compressed air, repelled into one massive shockwave bomb.

If it detonated, it could wipe out an entire island.

He was going all-in.

Chiyu didn't back down either.

He summoned a massive lightning sphere—pure electricity.

"Ball Lightning—Annihilation!"

In a blink—

The two ultimate attacks collided.

KABOOOOOOM!!!

The resulting shockwave tore through the air, the sea, the very earth. Thriller Bark was obliterated—shattered into pieces.

Bolts of lightning rained down like dragons, slicing sky and sea alike. The entire world seemed to shake.

The ruins of the great ship plunged into the sea—Moria's corpse and the zombie army sinking with it.

From that moment on, they were just dust in history.

Chiyu hovered midair, suspended in lightning.

Kuma stood nearby, his body wrapped in shockwaves—but surprisingly, not seriously injured.

"…Uchiha Chiyu," he said. "Looks like I failed."

"But now that you've killed another Warlord… you'll be judged by Navy HQ and the World Government."

"I hope you're ready."

His voice faded into the wind.

Chiyu knew: Kuma had just launched himself into the atmosphere—one of his spatial moves.

He was gone.

That's why Kuma had been sent: not just to fight—but because he could escape.

Chiyu didn't chase him.

Instead, he turned back into lightning and returned to the Uchiha.

When he landed, everyone finally exhaled.

They believed in him—but two back-to-back Warlord fights? Even they had worried.

They looked out at the sea, where Thriller Bark had vanished beneath the waves.

Brook stepped forward.

"Thank you, Chiyu-sama… for getting my shadow back."

"You hate pirates… yet you spared me. Helped me. I don't even know how to thank you."

Chiyu shrugged. "I didn't kill you because you're already dead."

"But if you turn pirate again—I'll kill you a second time."

Brook chuckled.

"I'm going back to my ghost ship. I'll play music, sing… and remember my crew."

"That's all I'll do."

Chiyu nodded, then suddenly asked, "Do you remember a whale named Laboon?"

Brook froze.

"W-What did you just say?!"

"H-How do you know about him…?"

Chiyu simply said, "Go find him. He's still waiting for you."

Brook stood there, stunned. Then… from his empty skull sockets, tears began to fall.

"…I get it now."

"I'll take my ship back to the start of the Grand Line… find Laboon… and keep the promise I made him…"

"…That was decades ago…"

With that, Brook jumped off the ship and ran across the waves, heading back toward his ghost ship in the mist.

Soon, his violin echoed across the sea.

And with Brook's music in the air, the Uchiha and the ghost ship sailed out of the Devil's Triangle.

One going forward.

One going back.

Each taking a different path.

Nami turned to Chiyu, asking about Laboon. After hearing the story, she was visibly moved.

"Brook died and came back with the Revive-Revive Fruit… but his crewmates didn't. And now, to learn that Laboon is alive, and has been waiting all this time… That must be the happiest thing in the world."

Hina nodded too.

She glanced at Chiyu and smiled faintly.

"…Didn't expect Chiyu-sama to have such a gentle side."

Chiyu didn't say anything.

He simply turned and walked back into his cabin.

Meanwhile…

At Navy HQ, Bartholomew Kuma had reported back to Fleet Admiral Sengoku and the three Admirals.

The war room fell silent.

"…He actually did it."

"…Another Warlord. Dead."

"We can't let this slide. If we do, the Shichibukai system, Navy HQ, the entire World Government—will be nothing but a joke!"

"Fleet Admiral, we have to take action. It's time to settle this… for good."
