Ōtsutsuki Isshiki—currently in the vessel named Jigen—looked utterly ashen.
He had never imagined that Momoshiki and Kinshiki would fail to delay the enemy even for a moment.
True, he believed his own peak strength far surpassed Momoshiki's, yet Momoshiki was still a high‑ranking member of the Ōtsutsuki.
For him to be instant‑killed by Uchiha Chiyu this quickly—how could it be?
Were they simply incompetent?
Or had Chiyu's power once again exceeded every expectation?
Either way, Isshiki now understood: his entire plan had collapsed.
Isshiki: "Uchiha Chiyu, you—"
Chiyu (coldly): "Die."
With a casual wave, Chiyu's "Divine Kingdom of Takamagahara" expanded, engulfing the battlefield.
A primal terror seized Isshiki; the domain's radius was now incalculable.
Chiyu's ocular power had climbed to an unimaginable tier, and Takamagahara grew with it—already a force that no being could resist, destined one day to blanket the whole shinobi world.
Instinctively screaming, Isshiki tried to open a space‑time portal and flee.
Too late.
The portal shattered the instant it formed—space itself warped and dissolved.
A surge of spatial annihilation followed.
BZZZZT—
Jigen's body was reduced to fine ash in an instant.
Silence.
Members of Akatsuki and Kara stared as though seeing a specter: the being said to command Kaguya Ōtsutsuki had been erased by a single thought from Chiyu.
"Impossible…!"
Chiyu's eyes narrowed.
"A Kāma-style Rebirth, is it?
Come out—the real Ōtsutsuki Isshiki."
From the void where Jigen had perished, a new figure coalesced.
Using a pre‑planted Kāma karma seed, Isshiki had been forced to reincarnate—exactly the outcome he dreaded.
Jigen's ruined vessel was now his own; yes, he lived again, but could never reach true peak strength. The body was battered, decaying—a permanent handicap. Still, it was that or total death.
Onlookers (whispering): "Is… is that the real Ōtsutsuki Isshiki?!"
The resurrected Isshiki floated aloft—pale skin, gray‑white hair, a single curved horn like a crown, white robes over loose black trousers—glaring at Chiyu. Even incomplete, his power had already clawed back to roughly eighty percent of its prime.
Isshiki (furious): "Uchiha Chiyu! I was forced to reincarnate in this broken body—I'll never regain my peak. I will pay you back for this!"
Chiyu (unmoved): "Still so mouthy on the brink of death. Looks like that Kāma seed wasn't your only one."
A chill stabbed through Isshiki.
How could this man know everything about him—secrets even Amado and the other inners never learned?
With no road left but a fight to the death, Isshiki's eyes flared:
Left eye: Byakugan
Right eye: the mysterious "Black Eye"—in truth a golden iris with radial spokes, shining menacingly.
Before Chiyu moved, two allies struck first:
Uchiha Fugaku: "Yasaka Magatama!"
Hatake Kakashi: "Kamui Shuriken!"
A vortex‑black shuriken that twisted space and a Magatama charged by a Perfect Susanoo screamed toward Isshiki.
Isshiki: "Sukunahikona!"
The Black Eye's ability triggered—both attacks instantly shrank to motes and vanished.
"What?!"
Kakashi had never seen Kamui Shuriken neutralized except by comparable space‑time ninjutsu—and Isshiki's power was… different.
Chiyu: "Sukunahikona lets him miniaturize anything in creation. Trifling tricks, nothing more."
Isshiki snarled.
"Then take another round!"
Fugaku and Kakashi launched the same techniques again.
Isshiki invoked Sukunahikona once more—
—but this time Chiyu silently overwrote reality through Takamagahara.
Instead of shrinking, the incoming projectiles swelled catastrophically:
Yasaka Magatama became mountain‑sized chakra shells.
Kamui Shuriken broadened like a lake, rending space itself.
Isshiki blanched. Sukunahikona had been reversed; the attacks were now magnitudes deadlier.
Unable to take them head‑on, Isshiki unleashed his next trump:
Isshiki: "Daikokuten!"
A portal opened; titanic black cubes—Daikokuten constructs—poured forth, each impossibly dense and sensor‑shielded, crashing down in thunderous impact.
Cubes met towering Magatama and massive Shuriken; even so, Daikokuten cracked and shattered, Kamui's distortion warping them to fragments.
Isshiki staggered.
"That man's space‑time jutsu is… formidable."
Chiyu nodded in quiet approval—Kamui still held untapped potential in Kakashi's hands.
Roaring, Isshiki rained more cubes toward Chiyu, Kakashi, Fugaku, and Hyūga Hiashi.
Kakashi answered with "Kamui Raikiri."
Fugaku swung a Susanoo greatsword.
Hiashi, in Tenseigan Chakra Mode, fired a "Silver Wheel Reincarnation Explosion."
Isshiki never intended to win—only to stall.
As the others battled the cubes, he tore another black‑crimson portal and dove through.
Kakashi: "Lord of the Shinobi World—he's escaping!"
Chiyu (calm): "Good. I want him to run."
Kara's main base lay in an exotic dimension even Chiyu couldn't locate—until now. Cornered, Isshiki would lead them straight there.
Chiyu: "Kakashi, with me. Fugaku, Hiashi—defend Konoha and mop up the stragglers."
Fugaku & Hiashi: "Understood!"
Chiyu and Kakashi vanished after Isshiki. Fugaku and Hiashi swooped back over Konoha.
…
Akatsuki and Kara's remnants panicked.
"They're back—run!"
Fugaku (cold laugh): "Konoha isn't a revolving door."
His Susanoo loosed gigantic shuriken‑shaped chakra bombs and more Yasaka Magatama, obliterating Sasori's puppets and Kakuzu's masked monsters.
Hiashi, from afar, hurled a radiant Tenseigan Chakra Sphere that punched straight through Kisame, wrenching every drop of chakra from his body—the very fate Kisame once dealt to others.
Kisame, Sasori, and Kakuzu were forced into desperate retreats.
Elsewhere, Koji Kashin used Reversed Summoning to escape, while Boro resorted to his nightmare technique:
Boro: "Black Mist!"
A virulent nano‑virus filled the air. Konoha shinobi collapsed, limbs numb. Chakra absorption was useless; the virus was not chakra.
Tsunade reacted instantly:
Summoned Katsuyu to encase victims, feed them chakra, and slow the infection.
Recognized it as a virus, not a toxin.
Furious, she erupted with Mokuton: towering trees burst from the earth, blocking Boro's retreat.
Boro (startled): "Hashirama's…?"
He countered with Lava Release: Planet-Branding Blast, an acidic blast that dissolved the wood and detonated violently.
Tsunade leapt in pursuit:
"Pain‑Heaven Kick!"
Her heel smashed down like a meteor, gouging a vast crater. Boro, pale and shaken, fled again.
Tsunade: "You're not getting away!"
A colossal vine snared him—but Boro wrenched free by shearing off his own arms, then rapidly regenerated.
Tsunade pressed; Boro detonated an explosive virus charge, engulfing her in flames and shrapnel.
Gasps rang out—yet when the blast cleared, Tsunade stood with only minor wounds, already knitting.
"What is she made of?!"
She counter‑punched.
BOOM!
Boro's body burst apart. A glowing regeneration core surfaced, trying desperately to rebuild him—
—Tsunade stomped, crushing it. Boro's soul shrieked once, then scattered like dust.
By the time dust settled, Kisame, Sasori, and Kakuzu had been captured alive and sealed.
Under the command of Fugaku, Nara Shikaku, Tsunade, and Hiashi, Konoha ninja swept the battlefield and treated the wounded.
…
Meanwhile, Chiyu and Kakashi tailed Isshiki to Kara's hidden base—a realm of sleek, hyper‑advanced technology: electrified, mechanized, digitized beyond anything in the shinobi world.
All of it bore the genius mark of Amado, whose brilliance rivaled or surpassed Orochimaru's in certain fields.
Inside a sealed lab, Amado led Orochimaru and Hiruko to a chamber bristling with instruments. Their eyes were quickly drawn to the specimen on the central table:
A corpse beyond description.
Though dead, it radiated an oppressive divinity that compelled kneeling; a single glance filled them with crushing insignificance.
Sweating under the weight of the aura, Orochimaru and Hiruko whispered:
"Wh‑What kind of deity is that? Even in death it's terrifying!"
Amado's gaze burned with zeal.
"This is the body left behind after one of Ōtsutsuki Shibai's reincarnations."
"A being capable of creating—or erasing—an entire universe."
"The alpha and the omega of all things…"
"The Ōtsutsuki God!"
