Chapter 442 – Escape
Loup was doing his absolute best to not curse the ancestors of the man running beside him.
He didn't even know why he himself was running, except the fact that his impulses took the better of him. Yet now it was far too late.
The knowledge of who was trailing behind them eluded his feeble and anxious mind, but Loup knew that stopping at that instant would mean his death.
'Grandmother, please bless me!!' He squealed inside his mind, tears swelling in his eyes as he zigzagged through the alleys of Fenrir's city, going deeper into where few people walked.
He didn't know how he was going so fast, but at that instant only instinct guided him.
The wind slammed wildly against his face, yet Loup could still hear the wrathful voice of their pursuer.
It was close. Dangerously close.
