Chapter 436 – Honor
Keisha's mouth was getting stiff from smiling too much and too falsely.
She sat at a small wooden table adorned with scales at the edge, the red wine she had brought resting on top of it.
Cole was sitting in front of her, looking at her with a strange gaze.
Keisha suppressed a twitch and smiled even more.
It had been only minutes since the beginning of their talk — if one could call it like that — yet Keisha felt like hours had passed. Cole was clearly unresponsive, only nodding and grunting whenever she said something.
A cold, sinking feeling began to creep into her mind. But Keisha kept it at bay, trying her best to calm the ominous sensation whispering to her.
'This is bad.'
"This is so good!" She chirped, sipping her cup of red wine. A wine Cole didn't touch until now.
