Kaelric's jaw clenched tight.
He gave a sharp nod. "Do it."
His hand shot into his coat, pulling out his phone. His fingers moved across the screen, entering his password—a complex string that unlocked within seconds. He strode forward and thrust the device toward Vyne.
Vyne took it, eyebrows raised slightly. He turned back to his computer, connecting the phone with a cable from his drawer. "Direct connection. Faster," he muttered, fingers already flying across the keyboard.
Data streams poured across the monitors—message logs, call histories, location data flooding in cascading lines. Vyne's smirk widened as he worked. "Of course you'd agree."
Maps began blinking into existence, dots and signals stretching across the city like living veins.
His eyes glowed with amusement as he worked, humming under his breath like it was nothing more than a game.
