Vesper lifted his head, his eyes gleaming with satisfaction. "Damn, you taste like heaven," he said flirtily, his voice husky from feeding.
Surprisingly, his wounds healed right in front of Blazar's eyes. The cuts sealed themselves, bruises faded to nothing, and his swollen eye returned to normal.
She was stunned and happy she helped him, especially knowing he had actually fought Dante because of her.
Vesper's fangs reduced in size as they returned to extra sharp, somehow normal canines. Blazar found herself staring at his face until he smirked, catching her gaze.
"You know, if you want to kiss me you can just do it because I won't refuse, instead of you staring hungrily at me," he teased, his eyes dancing with mischief.
Blazar waved a dismissive hand, her cheeks flushing. "What the... hah... I was just inspecting you to see if you have gotten any better."
Vesper raised a brow, his smirk widening. "Oh really?"
Blazar nodded firmly. "Yes, nothing more."
