Now she found herself standing outside Kaelric's penthouse door. He'd been awfully quiet the whole day, and that bothered her more than it should have. Their usual easy kind of not warm but somehow close relationship, had turned cold and distant.
She knocked once. Twice. Three times.
Nothing.
