Harper got out of her room already dressed in a blue baggy jean and a grey sweat shirt, she locked the door nervously anticipating for what will happen.
"What is the worst thing that can ever happen?" She asked her self and wanted to start walking when she saw an unfamiliar face that startled her again.
"This has happened twice now," she muttered under her breath and asked "and who are you, you almost made me had an heart.....," Harper stopped talking after remembering where she has seen the face, it was the girl Maverick that aria has warned her about.
"Am sorry I freaked you out, that how I say hello your dorm is close to mine so when I wanted to leave I spotted you leaving too so I wanted to go together," amber said with an apologetic smile that held hatred in them.
"Oh...um...I already have someone I'm going with, Harper by the way, don't mention I know your name." Harper said in a hurried tone and doesn't want to associate with her.
" Are you in a hurry.. I'm sorry I troubled you, you can go I'll go myself." Amber frowned at her friendly attitude but was veiled by the smile.
Harper was thrilled Roger response and left there immediately, though Harper wants to appear invulnerable but amber hasn't done anything to her so this was not the time to show off what she can do.
Harper saw aria already standing at her room door and she said "I've been waiting for you, didn't know you were the type to dress for hours." She commented and Harper rolled her eyes and stared at her and noticed she wanted to speak but she gripped Aria's arm and they left before they would spend hours in the dorm for her speech.
Harper walked gracefully her long wavy blonde hair that was tied in ponytail was loosened revealing the length of her hair with some parts falling on her shoulders.
The people who hasn't seen the girl before now knew she was a freshman, her smile was exquisite and her style of clothes matched her appearance which made it look more attractive.
Harper hazel eyes wandered around the people and the place and she noticed some of them were starting at her in bewilderment.
"Why does everyone keep staring at me like that?" She asked naively.
"You really don't know, I think the are surprised to see someone like you, you look perfect." Aria smiled sweetly after saying that.
"I really am gonna get her by any means." Steven said to Conrad who kept staring at her. "Don't tell me you like her con?" Steven asked in doubt knowing full well his friend does not believe in love at first sight.
"No nothing like that, she is just too beautiful." Conrad complimented still staring at the delicate figure who was coming towards them.
"I think she is coming towards us." Conrad said in enthusiasm. " maybe she has fallen for my charm no girl could break." He stated and Steven doubted she was coming towards them and they walked passed them.
Steven chuckled but stopped when Conrad glared at him and he said "she will come around."
"Are you in love with her?" Steven asked in curiosity and his friend stood quieta nd that gave him the answer " you like her, wow that great thought you didn't believe in love at first sight."
"I don't, I just want to get what I want from her, I don't like her romantically just interested in having fun it's been long since I did this with a human." He blurted.
"Do what exactly?" Steven asked mischievously.
"You know what am saying, c'mon let's go in." He said and they went in with some others.
"I didn't know you wear glasses, you look pretty without it more but this one still better." Harper complimented with a sweet smile.
"Thanks." Aria said and left Harper standing in the room filled with crowd of people dancing towards the music and the multi coloured bulb shined brightly on the crowd and the walls of the room making the room look colorful.
Harper didn't know what to do so she went outside for she doesn't know anyone and don't want anything to do with them, now was her chance to go to the forest but the securities of the college was too tight making it almost impossible to even wander around.
Every where she turned to look they must be a security guard which made her annoyed she spotted a place with no guard but when she went there a guard came into view blocking her.
The tall figure appeared from no where and stood right before her wanting to stop her from doing anything.
She got really annoyed and sighed frustratedly she then looked up at the guard and saw it was Rowan.
"Where do you think you're going to freshman?" He asked.
"Umm.....nowhere just looking ... around.." she hesitated and noticed he didn't buy her lies and she said again wanting to escape fome him "I'll go back in now." Taking a few steps backwards he finally spoke.
"I know what you are trying to do, you were trying to go in there." He said pointing at the direction of the Forest.
"How did he get me who the hell is he?" She thought to herself.
"It's a restricted area don't make a move or I'll make you get expelled." He warned with a hollow gaze and calm voice yet cold and hoarse.
"Okay, I'll be going in now." She gnashed at teeth and clutched her hands and left the place.
He then turned to look at the direction of the forest and trailed behind his eyes red and burning in hunger.
After the party was over and the once crowded place has now turned into a empty hall after everyone has dispersed into their various directions and Harper stood there alone waiting for aria to show up but she didn't.
Wanting to look for her because she stood up from where she was sitting and walking down the quiet and dark hallway she heard a noise in one of the rooms and she traced the sounds and opened the room door.
Not wanting to make any noises she tiptoed in the room turning on the light she saw her friend staring at the dead girl startled, shaking in fear, sweat gathered on her forehead and she looked at her friend agitated and walked towards her.
"What...happened?" Harper asked with look of worry and terror.
"I d..on't .....know I ...i....just found the body lay...ing life....less on ....the floor." Her voice trembled in fear at the sight of it. Then someone entered after seeing the light on and he stared at the lifeless body and turned his head to stare at the girl comforting the other.
"Mr... Martinez.....?"
