Today was just another boring day for Hai. Sitting at the receptionist desk, he sighed, "Why did Pa have to go and build our inn at such a hidden location?"
He shook his head in resignation. They really needed money. For the past few years, they had been saving, and now they were so close to reaching their goal—but now it actually felt so far away.
"Haaa, anyways I'll go do the usuals. I should probably be able to make three silvers today," Hai pondered. He was a very smart and creative lad. Using his resourcefulness, he started a small business of drawing portraits for people. Though it didn't bring much, it was enough to get by.
Ding!
Suddenly, the bell indicating entries rang out, startling Hai from his daze.
On seeing the person walking in, he felt uneasy and quite strange. The person was fully wrapped in bandages, with only his seven orifices and his lustrous silver-white hair being spared.
