Lily was looking at the list and she was a bit shocked to see that Lucien's name was the first on it.
"You look shocked, don't you know that your husband is a level 9 threat to the government." Twilight looked at Lily, she took the mug of coffee in front of her and took another sip.
"He doesn't care who gets in his way, he has managed to put all the mafia families under his palm, and according to what they say he is quite the ruthless one." Twilight took another sip of her coffee, she looked at Lily. She could see there was something bothering her.
"What's wrong Nightsprig? Not feeling the whole mission?" Twilight dropped her cup, she tried to see if she would get Lily to talk but there was no reply from Lily and it seemed like she was zoning out.
Lily looked up at Twilight with a strange look on her face, she closed the file and placed it into her bag.
"Is there a way for me to save him for last?" Lily asked looking at Twilight, who seemed puzzled by the fact that Lily brought up something like that.
"May I ask why? Don't tell me you're already falling in love with him this early. So you do have a kink for bad boys." Twilight had a smile on her face when she looked at Lily.
"Get over yourself Olivia," Lily said, throwing a napkin on Twilight's face. She was not trying to talk about what she felt or not. "I just want to save the biggest one for the last kill and that is not a bad thing."
"Hmm, coming from someone who goes berserk while on missions, I want you to know that there is no way you couldhave anything done that way. Lucien Rosario is on top of the least because of a reason, I know you will not let him do anything that will jeopardize the mission." Twilight sounded a bit strict when she was looking at Lily, she was not going to let her make a mistake that would make everything look like a waste of time.
"I won't do anything like that, I will make sure everything is taken care of and you will be happy when you see the results." Lily smiled, she was looking at Twilight who seemed to be a bit off at the moment.
Twilight was looking in her cup, she was trying her best to make sure that there was nothing to upset her. "So what is he like?"
Lily was stunned when she heard the question, she looked at Twilight trying to see if she would be able to understand why she was trying to know what kind of man Lucien was.
"Are you asking for a particular reason or just to ask me what kind of man I married?" Lily was looking at Twilight, she knew that there was no way she would be that interested in knowing who she was married to.
"I want to know so I will know the reason you ran to a bad boy, you sly devil." Twilight had a smile on her face, she was only asking her for a little gossip.
Lily smiled when she noticed what was happening, she knew that there was no way she would be asking something like that.
"Well you see, he is not what I expected," Lily said in a cool voice, it made Twilight think that she was a bit starstruck with what she saw.
"He is quite the asshole," Lily said killing all the anticipation in Twilight's eyes, she didn't know what she was going to do to Lily for making her think there was going to be more to the story other than the fact Lily wanted to make sure that there was no way she would spend much time there.
"You're such a killjoy NightSprig," Twilight laughed as she took the last sip of coffee, she gently got up from the table. Smiling as she was looking out the door, she then turned to Lily.
"Be careful out there," Twilight said before she began walking towards the door.
Lily stood there looking at her as she walked away, she had a smile on her face. It was like she wanted to avoid the whole cliche of saying goodbye when she got to the door Twilight disappeared amongst the busy crowd of people at the entrance of the cafe.
"You know I will be fine, see you soon Twilight," Lily said as she picked up the files, she turned and walked out of the cafe like she was never there.
Lily got out of the Cafe and looked around if she could spot anything that seemed a bit out of the ordinary, she then headed for the car. She entered and fired up the engine, Lily drove off but didn't seem to be returning to the Rosario Mansion.
She drove straight to the city Hospital; she walked in with her head low. She wasn't trying to bring much attention to herself as she walked in.
Lily walked over to the nurse; she smiled when she was looking at her.
"Hey, I'm here for the visit." Lily was looking at her, she didn't want to break eye contact.
"You're a bit late today, but you know where to head." The nurse smiled as she handed Lily a card.
"Thank you," Lily said before she began heading for theroom. She stood by the door, took a deep breath then opened the door.
Lily looked in to see a woman lying on the bed, she looked immobile and there was no single ounce of life in her to even show that she was alive.
Lily went to the window and opened it, then placed some things on the table.
"Hey mom, how are you doing?" Lily said as she sat down by the lady, she looked at her with a smile on her face. "You know, I have a lot to tell you. For starters I got married yesterday, the name of the man Is Lucien Rosario."
Lily paused when she told her mom about her marriage, she couldn't bring herself to continue.
"I know you may have many questions, but don't worry I am fine. It was my choice to marry him, it was the only chance I would have to get close to him." Lily paused again this time she was holding her skirt. "So I can make him pay for putting you in this state and killing Dad."
