Whispers Beneath the Quiet Night:
Where the night was filling the space between them with the colors of love,
the gifts they had bought for each other had filled their hearts with joy and delight.
Their eyes sparkled with happiness.
Ramish opened each bag one by one, taking out the items, and said in surprise,
"Richer… these are all the same things
we had looked at for you,
but you didn't buy them.
When did you get buy all this?"
Richer smiled softly.
"I was looking at all of this for you.
While you were trying the clothes,
I spoke to shop staff,
then called the manager and asked him to bill everything."
Ramish said sincerely,
"Thank you for all these gifts, Richer."
Richer laughed lightly.
"You were the one who said
there's no place for 'thank you' in love."
Ramish laughed as well.
"Alright."
Richer said,
"Now pack everything up,
then let's go to the room and sleep."
Ramish gathered all the bags
and neatly placed everything into Richer's suitcase.
When Richer stood up and walked toward the room,
he suddenly staggered.
Ramish immediately held him.
"Richer, what happened?"
Richer replied tiredly,
"My legs hurt a lot,
and my whole body is aching.
Maybe Today I had a bit too much performed activities."
Ramish picked him up in his arms and laid him down on the bed,
then stepped out to the room and called the hotel staff,
ordering towel and massage oil.
When he returned,
Richer said with his eyes closed,
"Where did you go?
Turn off the light and sleep,
I'm very sleepy."
Ramish said gently,
"Just ten minutes more,
then I'll turn off the light."
Richer added,
"Please turn off the light,
and if you're not sleepy,
you can sit outside and use your phone."
Ramish replied,
"No, I don't feel like using my phone.
I'll rest soon as well."
Richer said,
"Then what are you waiting for?
Come and lie down."
They were still talking
when there was a knock at the door.
Richer said lazily,
"Who is it now?"
Ramish said,
"I'll check."
When he opened the door,
the hotel service staff was standing there
with towel and massage oil.
"Sir, this was ordered from your room."
Ramish took the items, closed the door,
and returned inside.
Richer asked,
"Who was it?
And what's that?"
Ramish smiled.
"Towel and massage oil.
I ordered them."
Richer looked surprised.
"For what?"
Ramish sat beside him,
spread a towel over his own legs,
and gently placed Richer's legs on them.
"I ordered this for your legs—
so you can feel relax."
Then he slowly pulled Richer's trousers up to his knees.
Richer said shyly,
"Ramish… is this really a massage,
or something else?"
Ramish replied playfully,
"My intention is only massage.
But if you want more relaxation…
that can be thought about."
Richer tried to pull his legs back,
but Ramish held them gently.
"Don't worry…
I'll only give you a massage.
It will help you relax."
Richer said softly,
"You're very tired yourself…
you just don't say it."
Ramish smiled.
"All my tiredness disappears
the moment I look at you."
He applied oil to his hands
and slowly began massaging Richer's legs.
Richer closed his eyes.
Peace settled over his face.
When Ramish moved his hands toward Richer's feet,
Richer immediately opened his eyes.
"Ramish, please…
don't touch my feet.
I wouldn't feel comfortable
having you massage them."
Ramish looked at him lovingly.
"It doesn't feel bad at all
to do this for you.
In fact, it makes me happy
to be able to do something for you."
He gently massaged both of Richer's feet
and completed the massage of his legs.
Richer said softly,
"I really feel very relaxed."
Ramish stood up, gently turned Richer toward him,
and straightened his legs close to himself.
Applying oil to his hands again,
he slowly slid his hand inside Richer's trousers
and began massaging his thighs.
Suddenly, Richer's breathing grew faster.
He said anxiously,
"Ramish… please stop…"
But Ramish's movements held no haste, no boldness—
only care and sincerity.
He continued gently massaged.
Richer jerked backward,
and his trousers slipped down slightly.
He was wearing shorts underneath.
Embarrassed, Richer quickly pulled the blanket over himself.
Ramish smiled.
"Richer… why be shy?
There's no one here except you and me.
Come on, don't be shy—
you'll feel relaxed."
Richer shook his head lightly.
"No… it's not necessary now.
I'm fine."
His eyes were red,
his face flushed.
Ramish said,
"At least let me massage your lower back.
You'll sleep peacefully."
Richer said: I have no need for this.
Ramish climbed onto the bed
and sat gently on Richer's back.
Richer protested,
"Ramish, get down immediately."
But Ramish began softly massaging his back.
As Richer started feeling relaxed,
he lay still quietly.
Ramish finished the massage,
adjusted his trousers,
and covered him with the blanket.
He kissed Richer's forehead tenderly and said,
"Sweet dreams, my love."
Richer, now completely relaxed,
his eyes heavy with sleep, murmured,
"You should lie down too and rest."
Ramish replied,
"I'll just wash my hands and come back."
He turned off the light
and went to the washroom.
His arms felt heavy with pain,
his breathing was filled with exhaustion.
But when he returned,
lay quietly beside Richer,
and looked at his peaceful face,
all his tiredness seemed to fade away.
Richer was enjoying the depths of a peaceful sleep.
There, gazing at his calm and tranquil face,
Ramish gently placed his hand upon its face,
and slowly caressed his cheek with his thumb,
beginning to speak the truths of his heart.
Ramish whispered softly,
"Richer… I love you beyond measure.
I am certain that very soon
you, too, will begin to love me.
My heart longs so desperately
to hear your confession of love from your lips,
yet even if I wish to,
I can't tell you this even if I wanted to.
My heart desires
that you always remain before my eyes,
that not even for a single moment
do you slip out of my sight.
My heart wishes
to take you far away from this world,
to a place
where there is no one except you and me—
where I am enough for you,
and you alone are enough for me.
My heart wants
to be the reason behind every smile
that appears upon your face,
and to be the only cure
for each of your pains.
My heart wishes
to hide you within itself in such a way
that I would not even allow
your shadow to belong to anyone else.
My heart wants
that when I smile,
your smile reflects within me,
and when I look at myself in the mirror,
it is you whom I see.
When I drift into the arms of sleep,
it is only you who fills
the world of my dreams,
and when I open my eyes in the morning,
your face is the very first thing
that appears before me.
Richer…
this Indigent heart can no longer survive
without you.
Show just a little mercy
to the one who loves you,
or please—
stay right here with me."
Saying this,
Ramish slowly withdrew his hand
from Richer's face.
Watching the calm happiness on Richer's face,
Ramish kept smiling—
and before he knew it,
he too drifted into sleep.
Beautiful lines for love:
Nothing Special,
just this simple tale of mine—
you are my last thought every night,
and my very first thought every morning.
