The Silence of the Prepared World
Forty-eight hours had passed since Akihiko authorized the use of the Akasha Code .
He didn't announce it publicly. He only shared it with key members of the Resistance Council.
That silence wasn't cowardice.
It was strategy. Because the world was already too full of voices shouting their truth, of powers clashing without restraint, of young people dying for inherited ideals without understanding them.
Akihiko needed a moment of pause before unleashing the new hell.
During that time, each of the core members of Edenfall received a personal mission.
Not to destroy. But to sow… fragments of the future.
Lirea – The Journey to the Archive of Oblivion
Archive of Oblivion was located , a complex of sealed records containing forbidden information about early experiments in emotional duplication and genetic fusion.
Within that file, he found a segment titled:
"Kairan Project: Merging antagonistic bloodlines to create the bearer of involuntary balance."
And in the documents… there were genetic samples. From Kaelis.
From Ezra. From vanished clans.
All combined into a single base structure:
"Candidate #7 – SAEL."
Lirea trembled.
Not from fear. From understanding.
—"It's not a weapon. It's not a mistake. It's the mirror of chaos. "
And he swore that no one else would decide for him.
III. Juno – The Graveyard of Fallen Sounds
Juno traveled to the abandoned Soreval orbital station, where acoustic remnants of the Song of the Same still floated.
There, she found recordings of artificial voices , failed attempts to replicate human emotions through phonetic AI.
He connected his resonance ability and heard:
Voices asking for love without knowing what it was. Songs composed by algorithms without context. Screams… that had no history.
Juno activated her power: "No-Verse Pulse" , a technique that allows her to sing an emotional note not recognized by any pre-existing mental structure.
In doing so, he caused a desynchronization in the satellite's residual network. And as he disconnected, he realized:
"The next war won't be about territory.
It will be about the validation of the soul."
Riva – The Cradle of Broken Copies
Riva infiltrated a secret laboratory where defective duplicates, those discarded for not fitting any pattern, had been stored.
Many were catatonic.
Others were talking to themselves. And one… looked at her directly and said, "You're the one who designed the exit. Are you going to open the door for us this time?"
Within the core of the complex, Riva found an experimental brain-activating module , called the "Prism Spine," a device that could connect the memories of different individuals without merging them .
A bridge. A canal. The technology that would allow you to use the Akashic Code without losing your identity.
But it required proof…
and Riva decided to log on herself.
For four minutes, he lived memories that were not his own:
The childhood of a girl from the Osur Clan. The pain of a soldier duplicated before being discarded. Ezra's rage when he realized he had no soul of his own.
And when he came to, he knew something else:
"It's not about protecting identity.
It's about accepting that we are made up of many things. "
Sael – The listening seed
As his allies grappled with memories, Sael began to speak… in his sleep.
He wrote with his fingers on the bed.
Symbols. Random phrases. Sometimes… dead languages.
Marek set up a decoding system while recording the boy's dreams. And one phrase kept repeating:
"There is a city that never existed…
but everyone dreams of it when they are about to die."
Akihiko understood it was a call. Not from the present. From the end.
The attack on the Umbral Tower
The Umbral Tower was a coordination center for the Autonomous Circles.
Its fall would mean the loss of strategic communications.
She was attacked by the Zether Clan , manipulators of the "edge state" – warriors who fought in the instant between intent and movement,
dodging before you even thought to attack.
Akihiko and Marek defended the tower.
The battle was brutal.
Marek used his environment rewrite to collapse virtual stairs. Akihiko activated his oldest technique:
Way of the Second Impact – a form of combat that simulates having missed, only to generate a counterattack based on the rebound of the mistake.
In the end, they defeated the leader of Clan Zether. But with his last breath, the warrior said, "Kaelis didn't die.
She just became plural."
VII. The Rebirth of Edenfall
With all the data collected, skills tested, and pieces discovered, Akihiko, Riva, and Lirea activated the full Akasha Code .
Not to be used as a weapon. But as a framework for a new generation.
Edenfall would no longer be an army. Nor a refuge. Nor a rebellion.
It would be a living network of humans, duplicates, and mixed bloods , capable of using their abilities without being consumed by them,
capable of sharing memory without identity theft.
A new core. A new city. Edenfall Alpha.
"We're not going to win this war by destroying the old," Akihiko said. "We're going to win… by teaching the world how to be reborn without fearing what we once were."
