Chapter 7 - THE SUPERNATURAL OCCURENCE

As the weeks turned into months, Sarah's feelings of unease about Emily's behavior only intensified. She started to notice strange occurrences around the house, things that she couldn't explain. Doors would creak open on their own, and objects would move from their usual places. At first, she thought it was just the house settling, but deep down, she knew it was something more.

One night, as she was feeding Emily, she saw a shadowy figure out of the corner of her eye. She turned to look, but there was no one there. She brushed it off as her imagination, but the feeling of being watched lingered.

As the days went by, the occurrences became more frequent and more intense. Sarah would hear whispers in her ear when no one was around, and she would feel cold drafts in the house even when all the windows were closed. She started to feel like she was losing her mind, like the stress of motherhood was getting to her.

But deep down, she knew it was something more. She knew that Emily was at the center of it all, that her baby was somehow connected to these supernatural occurrences.

One night, as she was putting Emily to bed, she saw her baby's eyes glow in the dark. It was a faint, eerie glow, and it sent shivers down Sarah's spine. She tried to shake off the feeling, telling herself it was just her imagination, but she knew what she saw.

As she lay in bed that night, Sarah couldn't shake off the feeling that something was watching her, something that didn't want her to know what was going on. She felt like she was trapped in a nightmare, and she didn't know how to wake up.

The next morning, Sarah decided to talk to John about the strange occurrences. She knew he would think she was crazy, but she had to tell him. She took a deep breath and sat him down, trying to explain what was happening.

"I've been seeing things," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "Hearing things. I feel like something is watching us."

John looked at her with concern, his eyes filled with empathy. "You're just stressed, honey," he said. "You're a new mom. It's normal to feel overwhelmed."

But Sarah knew it was more than that. She knew that something was going on, something that she couldn't explain. And she was determined to find out what it was.
