His thoughts broke when the school bell rang.
"Finally the school is over, time for me to check this villa of mine," He took his bag and left the classroom.
When he reached the school gate, he scanned left and right.

With the chicken in hand, he headed toward the old apartment complex where his family lived. Thanks to the memory that he saw, he knew the way to the house.
After walking for a while he reached the old apartment. The building looked older than he remembered. Paint peeled off the walls.
Ethan walked up to the third floor.
After reaching a familiar door he tried to knock, but the door was open.
Inside a tired looking woman with faded clothes was cutting vegetables. A man with messy hair washing rice.
His mother and father.
"Ethan? you back early?" his mother asked, surprised.
"Yeah," he smiled." I bought fried chicken for you."
He raised the fried chicken box like a trophy.
His mom looked at the box," You brought what?" her voice sounded a little angry, but she couldn't hide her little smile.
Before he could answer, his father came out of the kitchen," You bought food from outside? Are you crazy? This must have cost a lot."
Ethan looked at him while he sounded angry, his focus on the box said otherwise.
"Let's eat together."
He stepped into his new home.
His mother took the bags and put them on the table.
They sat together around a small table. Ethan opened the box and passed out the food.
His mom finally took a bite," It's tasty."
Ethan just smiled at her.
They both preferred home made food and it's been a while they ate some store bought food.
"How's school?" his father asked.
"It's going well. I'm enjoying it."
"I know you are smart, but don't slack off. You will have to study hard." His mother said.
" Honey, don't worry. Our son is really smart, good at studies, and good looking. He will definitely make us proud." His father said while tapping on his shoulder.
He felt guilty inside, but one thing was clear in his mind.
"I promise," he said quietly." I will make things better."
His mother and father softened a little and she hugged him. This was the first time ever he was hugged by a person, but this hug gave him a sense of calmness and protection.
" I know you will make it happen."
I finally now understood why they say a mother's warmth could make everything better. I'm sorry father and also sorry to all the father's in this world, but mothers are the greatest.
