KODA'S POV
Nothing existed here. No light, no sound, no smell. I floated in absolute emptiness, my body weightless and numb. The darkness pressed against me from all sides, thick and suffocating. I tried to move but couldn't tell if my limbs responded. There was no up or down, no sense of direction or purpose.
Time meant nothing in this place. I might have been here for minutes or years. The void swallowed everything, even my thoughts, until I began to wonder if I had ever existed at all.
Then I heard it. A voice cutting through the nothingness like a blade through silk.
"You should not stay here."
The words came from everywhere and nowhere. I tried to turn toward the sound but had no way to orient myself in this endless black.
"You will only get trapped in your guilt again if you stay here."
