Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: Lobby

He was waiting for him to throw a tantrum, or even throw pillows and vases at him, but it did not happen, which made him wonder.

Especially after hearing the word 'uncle' memories seemed to flash back. He had only heard that word when the young master was still a child.

After that, he only called him servant or the dog of the house.

"Then I'll take my leave Young Master," he said as he went out, in the hallway, he saw the Madam.

"Madam, I… I…" he tried to find an explanation as Alexandria glanced at him.

"It's fine don't think about it," she smiled and went inside.

When Alexandria entered, she saw Alexander sitting on the bed. Alexander, who was trying to look for ways to pass the time, was suddenly disturbed when he saw her come in.

"Mom? Why are you here?" he asked as he saw her figure.

"Why not?" she said, looking at him with love.

Then without wasting any time, Alexander rushed toward his mother. He hugged her and buried his face in her chest.

This was not anything inappropriate. His mind was filled with longing for his mother, then tears slowly slid from his eyes as he muffled his voice.

"Mom, I'm sorry for all the trouble I've caused. This time, I'll try to be a good son for you and father," he said in a low voice.

Seeing her son being so clingy and emotional again, her already soft heart softened even more.

"Oh honey, causing trouble is normal at your age. As long as you can change even a little is what matters, but remember that in the end your mother will still love you no matter what," she said with a smile while patting his head.

Alexander then leaned back, putting some distance between himself and his mother since it was somewhat embarrassing.

Even back in his own world, he was not this open and clingy with his mother.

But the years of longing and regret kept spiraling up, ruining his focus. Outside the door, Sebastian, with his keen senses could hear them.

He was now starting to doubt if his young master had actually gained some enlightenment and understood all of his wrongs.

After spending time with his mother, slowly his emotions began to subside, and he kept holding her mother's arm afraid that this was all a dream and if he let go everything will disappear.

"Alright honey, I think this is enough talking for now. You must be tired after everything. Why don't you go to sleep and rest?" she said while poking his cheeks.

Since his chubby cheeks was fun to be played at.

"Okay mother, good night," he said, bidding his mother farewell.

Thinking that he really needed to rest since he needed some time to fully adapt to this kind of environment.

His mother, before leaving, squeezed his chubby cheeks again with a giggle, then left, fully satisfied from the mother and son bonding.

Left alone, Alexander lay down on the bed, wanting to sleep for a while because of the mental fatigue from absorbing the memories earlier, which was still not complete.

He could not even remember which girl he had harassed, based on what his father said. Closing his eyes, he decided to fall asleep.

As he did, he suddenly felt like he was being swallowed into a void.

When he opened his eyes, he found himself not in his room or back under the bridge, since he had thought that its maybe just a dream

As he wandered around the endless void, he began to wonder if this new life was just an illusion. As he tried to process this, a white wisp suddenly came toward him.

[#$@$@%^@!]

It spoke excitedly. He could feel that its voice was full of excitement, but he could not understand it.

Seeing his face which showed no understanding, the white wisp's expression began to show some disappointment.

It then slowly trembled and behind it, a white door appeared.

[#$@!*&#@$]

It spoke while circling around the door, signaling for him to enter. Even though Alexander could not understand its words, he understood its intention, which was for him to go inside.

He could feel no malice or danger from the white wisp, so he entered without a second thought, thinking that this might be the way out.

When he entered a blinding light caught his eyes slowly swallowing him, and then he passed out again in the so-called dream.

When he woke up, he felt that his body was lying on a grassy plain. Looking at the blue and bright sky, it felt peaceful.

"Where the heck am I? That light was so damn bright, I thought I was going blind," he said, clutching his head, but no aftereffects came after he woke up.

Sitting up, he was stunned. When he looked at the horizon, it was filled with patches of grass, spreading endlessly as if there was no end.

"Earlier it was the void, and now it's an endless terrain of grass. What kind of drug did that old man actually give me?" he said irritably.

He could not believe that even after death the old man's expired drugs was still taking effect or something.

Located in the top of the mountains an old beggar sneezed as he stopped cultivating for a moment and looked at the sky.

"Is someone talking about me?" he wondered, as he continue to cultivate.

After calming his mind for a moment, he tried to walk and look for a way. Maybe there was some kind of invisible path along the way, but there was nothing.

Only grass, grass, and more grass, "Where the heck am I, hey you wisp where in the world did you bring me into?" he called out but no reply came.

Feeling hopeless as hours passed when all of a sudden, the whole terrain trembled, and a message appeared in front of him just like in a video game.

[You have entered the 'Lobby'. Please wait while the world is still being constructed]

When it said that, on the far horizon he spotted what seemed to be square objects beginning to appear.

Some of them were the size of the Eiffel Tower, a mountain, and even some were the size of a planet, making him stunned at what kind of crazy dream this was.

He could only curse the old man since he was the one responsible for this. Clearly, his drug seemed to have transmigrated as well, affecting him greatly.

If that old beggar were to know about this, even he would be full of questions, since it was only supposed to be transmigration and there should be no side effects after that.

As those square-like objects began to appear, he looked to his side and behind him.

He saw that they were actually popping up everywhere, and as he slowly saw what they were, they were not square objects but doors.

Doors with different colors and designs appeared. At first there were tens, then hundreds, thousands, ten thousands, millions, billions, and even trillions, and they were still increasing, making him

shocked at why there were so many doors.

Then, when a door appeared right in front of him, it had the face of a skull stuck on a double-edged sword.

[Pirate Seas Dungeon]

[Do you want to enter?]

He was caught off guard and took a step back, but because of that he slipped, and all of a sudden, a door appeared right behind him.
