"Fox girl?"
Her golden hair shone brightly, and her eyes were also golden. Her face looked like she was in the lower grades of elementary school.
Fuzzy, pointy ears stood up, and her cute tail wagged restlessly. All of this just made Arthas think of the term "fox girl."
However, this term, spoken in a somewhat dubious tone, immediately enraged the little girl in front of him. The beast-eared girl glared at Arthas, shouting through gritted teeth.
"I'm a fox spirit! You outsider! How dare you...! Attack!"

"Stop lying! My eyes can't be deceived!"
"This is troublesome?" Arthas shrugged helplessly. He just stood there and didn't do anything, but instantly, a terrifying aura spread out.
A look of terror appeared on the face of the little fox spirit, who was standing there arrogantly, but it quickly recovered.
That feeling, as if her soul had been pierced, made the girl feel uneasy for a moment. Soon, everything before her made her scream involuntarily.
"You...What are you doing standing there? Quickly take him down!"
"There's no use wasting your energy. Although they can hear what you're saying, it's a bit difficult for them to respond."
Arthas said this leisurely, then walked towards the cute girl step by step with a strange smile.
"Ho...How is this possible? Why is it like this? You...Quickly capture him!"
The little fox spirit tried her best to call out to her companions, but just like Arthas had said, they had all turned into cold statues, unable to respond to the girl's calls in the slightest.

Inari Shrine, Arthas directly grabbed the little fox and walked into the shrine.
It seemed that the people who had surrounded and ambushed him outside were all there were. There were no other presences inside the shrine.

"No! Let me go! You villain!...I won't forgive you! Unclean devil being! You've defiled this sacred place! I'll never forgive you!"
However, the little fox spirit clearly had no intention of paying attention to Arthas. She was still rampaging on her own, looking like she couldn't be reasoned with.

"You...You wouldn't dare! I'll never forgive you!"

Arthas said this teasingly with an unusually annoying voice, then reached for the girl's skirt.

"Fox spirit! It's a fox spirit! My mom is a nine-tailed fox spirit!"
Hearing Arthas's somewhat disrespectful term, the teary-eyed girl almost jumped off of him, but Arthas slapped her down, putting the girl back into a prone position.
"Get to the point. They're all foxes anyway, aren't they?"
"Waaaaahwaaah...Bully, you're bullying me. Mom, I want Mom, give me back my Mom!"
The little fox spirit, who had fallen to the ground again, cried even more happily, leaving Arthas speechless for a moment.
He was most troubled by dealing with these kinds of children, especially crying children.
"Alright, first tell me the specific situation properly. What's your name, and what's going on with your mom?"
Holding the little fox's body, Arthas easily lifted her up, having the girl sit on his body as he asked this.
"Villain! Fiend! Didn't you guys capture Mom? Now you want to capture me too."
However, it was a pity that even though Arthas was speaking nicely, the little fox didn't intend to speak nicely. After being lifted up, she was still struggling stubbornly.
I already said that I only came to Kyoto today. Your mother is Kuyo, the youkai commander-in-chief of Kyoto, right?
Didn't she tell you that someone would be representing the Three Factions to visit her today?
As Arthas said this, the crying and struggling little fox spirit in his arms paused slightly, then looked at Arthas thoughtfully.
"You're the representative sent by the Three Factions?"

As Arthas said this, the little fox tilted her head slightly.
