An unprecedented calm washed over Arthas. Holding the girl felt like holding the entire world. He involuntarily closed his eyes, beginning to enjoy this rare moment of tranquility.
His initial fear and anxiety had completely vanished. Or perhaps, that fear and anxiety stemmed from the terror of losing the being in his embrace once more.
Who am I… and who is she to me? Why do I have these thoughts…
"Still as cunning as ever, aren't you? Indeed, you are a worthy man for me to have chosen."
The warm embrace didn't last long. A proud voice, brimming with self-assurance, suddenly rang out from Azi.
Azi, at some point, had shifted to a straddling position atop Arthas. With her arms folded, she looked down at him with a condescending gaze.
The sudden change left Arthas stunned for a long moment. Just now, she was a pitiful little girl; in the blink of an eye, she had transformed into a queen.
Thinking this, Arthas chuckled and touched the tip of his nose. However, there was something far more important he needed to know.
"I… who am I? Who are you? What kind of relationship do we have?"
Arthas asked softly. Azi didn't answer immediately. Maintaining a brief silence, she rose from Arthas. The girl turned proudly, her purple hair brushing his cheek, leaving behind an indescribable, faint fragrance.
"You are not yet qualified to know these things. Indeed, our relationship is profound, but that was in the past. As for you now…"
Turning her head, Azi glanced at Arthas, then gently shook her head.
"Not… qualified?"
Arthas smiled wryly and touched the tip of his nose. The girl's blunt assertion left him slightly dissatisfied, but he had to admit she was right; he truly lacked the qualifications at present.
Before him stood a being who even Shiroyasha treated with utmost caution—a Demon Lord residing in the Third Outer Layer of Little Garden! Despite her display of affection, Arthas knew the gap between them was immense, a gulf as wide as the heavens and the earth.
The Third Outer Layer… according to Shiroyasha, he currently dominates the Seventh Outer Layer. This means there are enemies he cannot defeat on the Sixth Layer?
Then… how vast is the difference between him and the Third Outer Layer?
After a moment of contemplation, Arthas shook his head. These thoughts were premature. His immediate priority was to find a way to obtain the Gift of free world travel.
Since Shiroyasha possessed information about this Gift, the Demon Lord before him, from the Third Outer Layer… must know even more detailed information.
With this in mind, Arthas looked at Azi before him and resolutely asked,
"Do you know how to obtain the Gift of free world travel?"
"Oh… why do you ask? Do you intend to leave this Little Garden?"
Hearing Arthas's words, Azi turned her head, curiosity evident in her expression.
"Yes, because there are people in other worlds that I must find, people I care deeply about."
Arthas explained. Azi frowned slightly, but after a moment, she let out a soft sigh.
"Is that so… people you care about. I do indeed possess the Gift of world travel, and I can give it to you right now."
"Re… really?!"
Hearing Azi's words, Arthas's eyes widened in excitement. However, Azi's next statement immediately brought him back down to earth.
"But don't get too excited. The Gift of world travel alone is meaningless. To reach a specific world, you must know that world's coordinates."
"Co… coordinates?"
Arthas paused, a look of utter bewilderment on his face.
"From your expression, it's clear you know nothing about coordinates…"
Azi sighed softly.
"I can help you locate the coordinates. You only need to provide the world's energy signature, its name, or the existence of something with a high degree of mystery. However, this will require…"
Arthas's words were cut short once again. Azi shook her head gently.
"Do you think freely traversing worlds is an easy feat? To master this power, you are not yet qualified. You are far too weak."
Arthas was once again stunned, but this time he didn't show any haste. He tilted his head slightly, his gaze fixed on Azi.
"Then… you will make me stronger, correct?"
Arthas, having vaguely guessed Azi's intentions, asked with a smile.
"Yes, that's right. Although you are pathetically weak right now, rest assured, with me, you will quickly grow stronger. At least strong enough to defeat that little Shiroyasha."
Azi cleared her throat awkwardly, seemingly trying to hide the blush rising on her cheeks. Then, with a serious expression, she stared intently at Arthas and continued slowly,
"I will send you into my pocket dimension. Your goal is to continuously grow stronger, and then, to seize the essence of that world, to make it your own."
"Pocket dimension?"
Arthas murmured to himself. While he didn't fully understand what this meant, he understood that it represented power on a scale he couldn't comprehend.
Even gods are ranked; clearly, Azi, a pure-blooded dragon, is undeniably a god.
One could even say that many of the gods within this Little Garden would be powerless against her, easily crushed like ants under her feet.
"In due time, you will understand these things. For now, let's go."
Azi said this, and with a wave of her hand, a doorway opened before Arthas.
"This is… your pocket dimension?"
Looking at the portal before him, Arthas murmured to himself. Azi nodded gently.
"That's right. Although this is my pocket dimension, it doesn't mean you will be treated like a god. On the contrary, in this powerful world, you could die at any moment without even knowing how. So… are you ready?"
"Don't worry, I won't die."
Arthas nodded lightly, offering Azi a smile, and then stepped into the portal.
"Such a… fool."
A trace of reluctance flickered in her eyes, before Azi steeled her resolve and, with a wave of her hand, completely sealed the portal.
