"Stop staring, you'll freeze your eyes. My friend doesn't like being watched."
Shiroyasha said this in a playfully jealous tone, and Kuro Usagi, Sakamaki Izayoi, and the others quickly looked away.
It wasn't just obedience; continuing to stare felt like their eyeballs were about to freeze.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, what the heck is that? Why is there another ice popsicle?!"
Sakamaki Izayoi exclaimed loudly. He'd already had enough of Arthas's frost today, and now another monster appeared, making his eyes ache just from a glance.
"I warned you."
Shiroyasha shrugged nonchalantly. Kuro Usagi looked apprehensive.
"Who is that… so… so terrifying."
"Don't ask what you don't need to know. She's not from your world."
Shiroyasha warned, and Kuro Usagi immediately shut up.
The woman was beautiful, but her clothing was odd—a long robe ill-suited to her slender frame. Her long sleeves billowed as she walked, making it seem like her clothes might fall off at any moment.
She stopped before Arthas, her azure eyes meeting his. Arthas stood motionless, their gazes locked.
"What… is going on?"
Sakamaki Izayoi muttered, shivering. He felt the temperature plummeting.
What's going on…? It's summer, right? In a moment, it feels like we've already struggled through a long winter.
"That… person?"
Kuro Usagi's heart pounded. Were they about to fight silently?
"I say… you wouldn't happen to have a crush on this guy? Need me to introduce you two?"
Shiroyasha's laughter broke the silence. The woman shook her head and turned towards Shiroyasha's shop.
"Nothing."
"See you again sometime."
She waved at Kuro Usagi and the others before Shiroyasha and the mysterious woman entered the shop.
"Snap out of it, she's gone."
Sakamaki Izayoi chuckled, seeing Arthas still standing there, dazed.
"What's wrong? Did you two hit it off? I think you'd make a good pair, two icy cold icebergs."
"No… it's just… strange."
Arthas shook his head slightly. He couldn't explain the strangeness, only a feeling of unsettling familiarity.
"Strange? Does Arthas-sama know that person?"
Kuro Usagi asked, puzzled. Arthas shook his head.
"No, I didn't. Today was our first meeting… but…"
Arthas paused, then shook his head and remained silent.
"Well, it's love at first sight. I understand."
Sakamaki Izayoi offered a knowing smirk, but was ignored.
"It's quite unusual for you to suddenly come down here."
Behind the curtain, in Shiroyasha's room, the small, kimono-clad loli poured tea for the ice-like woman.
"Ah… really, because of you, my tea's gone cold."
Shiroyasha muttered, but the woman ignored her, or rather, she was lost in thought.
Shiroyasha paused; the woman's usual expressionless demeanor was normal. But after observing, she noticed the woman's eyes were unfocused.
Clearly, she hadn't heard a word.
"I say… what's going on, Queen Halloween? This isn't like you. Could it be…"
Shiroyasha frowned, showing disbelief.
"You… wouldn't happen to have a crush on that guy? Although your powers are similar, I initially thought he had some connection to you."
"Don't say such strange things. You should know that for the Forsaken, emotions are laughable."
Queen Halloween, finally serious, stared at her.
"Ah, ah, I know, I know… you're Forsaken."
Shiroyasha waved her hand dismissively.
"Alright, tell me why you came down here."
"It's still about that matter."
Queen Halloween gently lifted the teacup Shiroyasha had poured. The moment her hand touched it, the steaming tea froze solid.
Shiroyasha rolled her eyes as Queen Halloween picked up the iced tea and ate it.
The crunching sound echoed, making Shiroyasha's brow twitch. She'd seen it many times, but Queen Halloween's tea-drinking habits always baffled her.
"Someone… with the power of frost… someone special?"
Shiroyasha muttered, tapping her fingers on the table.
"That guy was, so you're interested. But, I still don't know why you're looking for someone like that. I remember finding several for you before, but why wasn't he satisfactory?"
Shiroyasha mumbled, but Queen Halloween showed no intention of explaining. She simply stared with her beautiful azure eyes, remaining silent.
"I said, don't push it. I've been working hard to help you, and you don't even tell me why!"
Shiroyasha complained, but Queen Halloween remained silent.
"Fine, fine, I give up. Conveniently, the guy you saw is one. He just joined No Name. I won't interfere with what you do."
"Thank you. Your assistance to our commonality, the Scourge Legion, will be remembered by me and my master. That's all for today. We'll meet again."
Nodding slightly to Shiroyasha, Queen Halloween left without hesitation.
