Exploring the Black Forest proved to be far more challenging than expected. Thick fog shrouded all the forest, and unknown beasts and treacherous swamps lurked everywhere.
Two days had passed, and the exploration team was exhausted, but they had found nothing.
When everyone was in despair, Donna accidentally discovered some traces of artificial excavation under the mountain wall covered by entangling vines.
The exploration team leader pressed his ear against the soil under the mountain wall and listened for a while. Then he shouted excitedly, "I can hear the sound of water! There must be water underneath!"
The werewolves cleared the vines and soil and dug down. A hole covered by gravel and mud appeared. No one knew how long it had been there. The hole was deep, with vapor and fresh air coming from it.
Everyone's eyes shone with hope, and they began to dig deeper. After a day’s work, they dug through the whole blocked passage!
