Chapter 2 - 2

Alexandria looked at the blood still seeping from her head and thought she should deal with it quickly. Otherwise, she'd just arrive in this place and end up dead soon after.

She didn't expect that the wishing stone would actually work. She had wished to come to a place without zombies, and it really came true!

Alexandria looked at the stone resting on her neck. She moved her finger, and suddenly, a small flame appeared on her fingertip. This made her ecstatic. Her abilities hadn't disappeared!

It was probably because the original owner's body was too weak, so Alexandria could only use a tiny bit of her power. Alexandria decided to go for it, injecting all the abilities she could muster into the wishing stone. Her wish was for medical supplies and a bowl of chicken soup noodles.

There was no other choice. Alexandria glanced around the small house where the original owner lived. There was nothing to eat, not a single penny. It seemed like Christian and his family really wanted to starve her to death or let her die of illness.

It had been almost a full day since the original owner collapsed. No one had come to this rundown house, clearly waiting for her to die so they could just dispose of her.

In the apocalypse, using up one's abilities was a dangerous thing, and it would take a long time for the body to recover. Alexandria thought that this body was too weak.

However, her hands didn't stop for a second. She quickly took out the bandaged medicine and tools, expertly tending to her own wounds. Alexandria had gotten used to this; she couldn't even remember how many times she had been injured over the years.

But this time, her speed was the fastest because the smell of the chicken noodle soup nearby was just too delicious!

It made her mouth water! After wrapping her wounds, Alexandria grabbed a bowl of chicken noodle soup and began devouring it quickly, finishing it with lightning speed. She even drank all the broth, leaving nothing behind!

It was just! So delicious!

After eating and drinking her fill, Alexandria finally had the energy to look around at her surroundings. She glanced at the shabby room, which was completely empty. With the memories from the original owner, she knew this was a backward era, but it was also an era on the rise, and society would rapidly develop later on.

However, as for the Shao family, Alexandria had no intention of letting them have an easy time. They had treated the original owner so badly, how could she let them off the hook!

As for her short-lived husband, she felt sorry for him, but he had died on the battlefield early. Though the original owner had a good impression of him, as the original owner's husband, he couldn't protect her, leading to her death under unfair circumstances. That was inexcusable!

After resting for a night to regain some strength, she planned to go tomorrow and demand what belonged to her.

After all, she knew that in this world, once you were married, everything belonging to the couple was shared property. The allowance that Christian had sent back home should have been half hers. With that money, she could

The next morning, when Alexandria woke up, the sun had already been up for a while. It seemed she had slept for a long time, but she felt much better than she had yesterday when she had been dizzy and sluggish.

Her stomach growled loudly, and the house was empty except for the lazy Jay and her older sister-in-law, Madam Xu. Alexandria decided to eat first and then practice a bit. Using her memory, she headed straight for the kitchen.

As she entered, she saw Madam Xu, who was preparing lunch for the family. When Madam Xu saw Alexandria, she looked as if she had seen a ghost. She knew exactly what was going on at home. Alexandria's father-in-law had already said that when everyone returned from work, they would find her body in her room. She had even told others that Alexandria had become so upset after the loss of her son that she had crashed into a wall and was now lying at home, dying. Seeing her alive and holding a stick in her hand nearly scared Madam Xu to death.

Alexandria, noticing Madam Xu's shocked expression, gave a wicked smile and asked, "Sister-in-law, are you cooking?"

Madam Xu instinctively responded with a grunt, but then she quickly realized who she was talking to. There was no need to be polite with this "troublemaker." She immediately changed her expression and ordered Alexandria to work.

Madam Xu had always been rude to Alexandria, constantly criticizing and scolding her, though she did so more subtly than the old lady, Christian.

Alexandria was not about to tolerate this. She immediately slapped Madam Xu hard, sending her stumbling back in shock. Madam Xu was stunned for a moment, and then shouted, "You wench! How dare you hit me?"

Madam Xu lunged to strike back, just like she had always done to Alexandria. But Alexandria was faster. She slapped her again, hitting her from both sides and knocking Madam Xu to the ground. Madam Xu cried out in pain, stunned by the force of the blows. She had never imagined that Alexandria would have the courage to hit her, let alone with such force. She immediately lost the will to retaliate.

Jay also heard the loud commotion outside. He originally came out to see what was going on, but when he saw Alexandria moving around with food, completely unharmed, he shouted angrily, "You dirty person, how dare you steal food!"

He rushed toward Alexandria, intending to slap her, but before he could get close, Alexandria kicked him with a flying leg, sending him flying more than two meters away.

Madam Li didn't even have time to warn Jay before he was knocked down and couldn't get up, lying on the ground groaning in pain. Alexandria put down the food in her hands and walked over to him.

Whether it was due to the original owner's hatred for Jay, Alexandria felt an increasing urge to tear him apart.

However, Alexandria wasn't going to kill anyone. She knew that this era was different from their previous one, and murder would bring law enforcement. She didn't want to become a target, although she wasn't afraid of the police, it would still be troublesome!

Looking at Alexandria walking toward him slowly, Jay continued to curse, "You filthy bitch, how dare you hit me! Wait until later, if I don't crush you, my last name isn't Shao! Ah!!!"

Before he could finish speaking, Alexandria stepped on his mouth, "Your mouth smells bad. Do you need me to shut it for you?" Then she stepped on him again.

"Ah!!! Let go of me! Otherwise, my mom won't let you go!"

"Really?"

Alexandria immediately kicked him a few more times. The sound of flesh hitting the floor made Madam Li wet herself.
