Chapter 7 - The Erasers and the Origin of Void

Chapter 7: The Erasers and the Origin of VoidOpening Line

All stories begin somewhere. But what if something existed… whose only purpose was to ensure they never did?

The Cracking Sky

The moment Kael rewrote the First Script, reality itself reacted.

The skies above a thousand worlds split like glass, exposing a swirling vortex of nothingness — not shadow, not space, but pure non-existence.

The Omnipotent One, weakened and slouched upon the remnants of the Throne, felt it before he saw it.

"No… not them. Not now."

The Authorities gathered, bruised and trembling.

"Who comes now?" asked Fire, his flames dimmed.

The Omnipotent One raised his eyes, hollow and grim.

"The Erasers."

What Are The Erasers?

In the beginning, when Elenai wrote the First Script, she created possibilities — stars, time, choices, pain, love.

But beyond her reach, before even her breath of creation, something older waited.

The Erasers were not evil.

They were not alive.

They were the opposite of story — entities that existed to wipe out what might become.

For eons, the Throne had kept them away, using the balance to anchor reality.

Now, with Kael's rewrite and Elenai's awakening, the protective veil was torn.

And the Erasers began to feed.

Kael Meets Elenai

In the Hollow Beyond Light, Kael watched as a golden figure emerged from the breach beneath the broken Throne.

She floated with a grace that made the cosmos tremble.

Her eyes glowed like twin suns, and her voice echoed with sorrow and strength.

"Kael," she said softly, "I named you before I even knew your face."

Kael bowed, unsure of what to feel — reverence, fear, love?

"I released you," he said.

"But I don't know what I've truly done."

Elenai touched his face, smiling gently.

"You restored truth. But truth always draws shadow."

She looked upward.

"They are coming."

Zeraphin's Warning

Zeraphin, once Sylenn, knelt beside Elenai.

"Your release has weakened all barriers. The Null Gate is open."

Kael asked, "What is the Null Gate?"

Zeraphin shivered.

"The place where all unwritten stories lie. A prison for all aborted possibilities. A realm the Erasers dwell in."

Kael's marks flared.

"Then we fight."

Elenai nodded.

"No… we rewrite."

The Arrival of the First Eraser

The sky above the Realms of the Authorities screamed.

Out of the darkness stepped a being shaped like a tear in logic — faceless, formless, cloaked in glitching echoes.

Wherever it walked, color died. Sound bled. Memory unraveled.

Its name was Deymor — First of the Erasers.

Time tried to stop it — froze the moment.

But Deymor walked outside of time.

Space tried to fold reality around it.

But Deymor moved without distance.

Death raised a million phantom blades.

But Deymor was never alive to begin with.

Fire burned all paths forward.

And Deymor stood in every one.

The Omnipotent One stood to face him.

"We may fall," he said. "But we will fall with story in our hearts."

Deymor didn't speak.

He unwrote the Omnipotent One's name.

And for the first time, the Omnipotent One forgot who he was.

Kael Writes a Weapon

Back in the Hollow, Kael stood before the Script.

"How do we fight something that was never written?" he asked.

Elenai replied, "You write it now."

Kael raised his hand and began writing:

"Let there be a blade — not of fire, nor steel, but memory. A sword formed from every moment I lived, every pain I felt, every dream I dared."

And thus, the Blade of Becoming was born.

A shifting weapon made of light and shadow, held together by sheer identity.

Kael gripped it and felt every version of himself humming through its hilt.

"I am Kael," he whispered.

"And I am real."

The Battle of the Forgotten Realms

Kael and Elenai descended into the remnants of reality — places falling into the Null.

Deymor was not alone.

More Erasers had arrived — Noform, Echobane, and Nullis.

Kael raised his blade. Elenai raised her hand, and with a whisper, restored hope into the dying realms.

Zeraphin shielded the last living stars, speaking incantations older than sound.

But for every Eraser they fought off, another hole appeared.

"They're multiplying!" cried Elenai.

"They sense creation!"

Kael stabbed through an Eraser — and felt his own birth memory flicker.

"They feed off what we are," he said.

"Then we must remind them who we are."

Kael's Final Gambit

Kael flew into the sky, holding the Blade of Becoming high.

And then — he struck himself.

"Kael!" Elenai screamed.

But instead of dying, Kael fractured — splitting into every version of himself:

The warrior.

The coward.

The child.

The king.

The farmer.

The tyrant.

The lover.

The boy who never picked up a sword.

Each Kael stood on a thread of memory, forming a wall of story.

Together, they shouted:

"We choose to exist!"

The Erasers shrieked.

Their forms unraveled.

Deymor tried to step forward — but the versions of Kael surrounded him.

One of them — the forgotten Kael, who never left his village — whispered:

"Even in stillness, I mattered."

And Deymor ceased.

The Aftermath

The Null Gate closed.

The Erasers faded.

But the price was heavy.

Many realities remained damaged. The Throne was beyond repair.

And the Omnipotent One sat among the ruins, broken, silent — nameless.

Kael approached him.

"You held the line for eternity. But it's time to let go."

The former ruler looked up.

"What now?"

Kael turned to Elenai.

She smiled.

"Now… we write together."

Final Lines

From the ashes of erased tales, from the bones of silence, rose a new library.

Not ruled. Not governed. But created — every day — by those who dared to dream.

And at its heart sat not a throne… but a blank page.

Waiting.
