In the lecture hall, our teacher, Luna — The woman whose heart wasn't pounding — slammed the table to get our attention.
"Does she have something in her head?" Zephyr muttered, his eyes twitching as he glared at her.
We were still on Saturday, attending a general lecture that didn't have anything to do with the professions.
And after awakening my vampiric blood, I noticed something about this teacher, something other than her strange heart…
'She doesn't even have blood.'
I would have assumed she was a corpse if not for her breathing and the heat of her body.
"Ahem," Luna cleared her throat, looking excited as he continued, "You have always heard about them, right? Today, I'll explain to you everything you need to know about them!"
