I lay exhausted on the ground as the pain finally stopped.

I thought that my pain resistance would be enough to resist the pain of the aether seed, but how foolish I was.
I felt like that seed shattered both my cores, devoured them slowly while burning my entire body, then planted itself in my brain aggressively.
'I'll… keep painkillers with me from now on.'

I wanted to make sure that it wouldn't cause me any troubles in the future like turning me into a lab rat, but thankfully, Aria told me it was safe to use.

Because I wasn't the only one that got it.
Aria got one, Selene got one, and both Zephyr and Celestia got the same. Only Alfred didn't get that seed for some reason.
