Ruminas teleported away once more, first she needed to temporarily escape the monsters' encirclement.
The monsters also chased very quickly, the six parasitic dogs coordinated and surrounded her again, their tails and spikes continuously attacked each other intertwinedly but Ruminas was still able to avoid it thanks to the qi.
Ruminas began to notice that after these parasitic dogs attacked once, it would take 0.01453 seconds to change the position of their tails, and each spike fired would be spaced 0.45 seconds apart.
And she took advantage of that, while they were all in their downtime, Ruminas immediately teleported to one of them, using her axe to chop it straight in the face. The monster immediately responded with its sharp jaws.

Just then, the air-controlled dagger suddenly appeared and stabbed straight into its left leg, a precise stab and its weakest joint caused the monster to immediately fall to its knees.
But before she could deliver the finishing blow, the parasitic dogs and other monsters attacked, forcing Ruminas to retreat once again.
"We have to finish it first!"
Ruminas made up her mind, she started fighting the other monsters while keeping an eye on the heavily injured parasitic dog, it didn't have any outstanding recovery ability so its health was gradually decreasing due to the effects from her axe.

An angry roar rang out, black blood gushed out and the monster had to retreat hastily, but the knife was still stuck in it so she could remotely control it with her chi and make it stab deeper.
Heart broken, the intermediate chaos collapsed on the spot, no longer having any vitality.
"You like helping? Here, help!" Ruminas laughed happily.
Ruminas didn't have time to rest after taking down the mid-level chaos, because as soon as it fell, the surrounding monsters immediately became more ferocious, as if they realized the true threat she posed. Some of them started to let out ear-piercing screeches—a warning signal.
"Oh no, they're calling for reinforcements!"
Ruminas gritted her teeth, quickly calculating in her head. If she let the monsters call for more of their kind, the situation would become much more disadvantageous. She needed to end it quickly before the situation got out of control.
"Should we retreat for now…?"
Ruminas didn't even have time to think for a second before the monsters attacked in droves. They no longer coordinated or anything, they just charged forward to their deaths. Even if she teleported away, they would immediately come looking for her.
"They're going crazy, it's best to get out of here for now."
She immediately swung her axe down on the ground, the qi that erupted created a small shockwave that made the nearby monsters stagger. A second-level parasite lost its balance for a moment, and that was the opportunity.

But just then, danger struck!
The tentacles of another mid-level chaos monster reached out from behind her, extremely fast and dangerous. Ruminas quickly ducked to avoid it , but one of the tentacles still managed to brush past her shoulder, leaving a deep cut.
"Cut it right? Nice!"
"Recover!"
The soft light emitted from the bracelet on Ruminas' body helped her quickly recover from her wounds.
Ruminas immediately counterattacked. The dagger in her hand was enveloped in aura, shining with a cold light before she stabbed straight into the monster's tentacle.

The sharp blade cut through its thick skin, severing part of its tentacle. The monster screamed in pain, but Ruminas did not stop.

She appeared right on top of it, axe raised in hand.
"Slash—!"
A full-force slash was swung down, tearing the monster's body apart. Black blood splattered everywhere as it collapsed to the ground, motionless.
Ruminas was panting but the situation was not over yet.
She killed another enemy but there were still a lot left and Ruminas discovered a problem: her mana was running low. When her mana was depleted, she couldn't use her teleportation skill and the recovery ability from her bracelet.
"This time I really have to retreat"
If Ruminas lost those two abilities, she would be at a great disadvantage as she would not be able to escape in time if surrounded.
