"Shen Wulong lost!? Impossible!"
The Devourer screamed, face twisted. With Raian closing in, he tossed a binding gadget to stall him, then decisively jumped off the rooftop, pulling a glider from his storage and hanging from it with one hand.
Gusion looked in terrible shape, but given he'd just killed Shen Wulong, the Devourer had no guts to face him.
And Raian wasn't weak either—if it came to a fight, he might not even beat Raian.
Gliding in midair, he glanced down at Gusion. "You're strong, but the times have changed."
He didn't know Shen Wulong's final thoughts, but Shen Luohan had made preparations. The Death Dealers had stationed military forces near the coast—soon, missiles would wipe out the city.
He'd once complained about the absurd settings of this world, but now he was grateful. When the nukes fell, not even Gusion could survive.
He just needed to escape—if Gusion died, he'd be the victor in this world.
"Bakudō #30—Shitotsu Sansen!"
As he fantasized about Gusion dying in a nuclear blast, a deep voice came from below.
The next instant, three huge beak-shaped beams shot out, pinning his hands and waist to a wall—with his strength, he couldn't break free.
Gusion calmly lowered his hand, smiling coldly. "Did you really think I had no ranged attacks?"
He hadn't used Kido or Bakudo against Shen Wulong—not out of some sense of martial honor, but because Shen Wulong was too experienced and evasive.
Low-level Bakudo was useless; higher-level ones took too long to cast, leaving fatal openings.
Now Shen Wulong was dead, and he'd mainly fought with brute strength, so his soul energy was still ample. Even injured, killing the Devourer wasn't hard.
Under the shocked gazes of the Devourer and Raian, Gusion raised his hand again and chanted:
"Sprinkled on the bones of the beast! Sharp tower, red crystal, steel ring. Move and become the wind, stop and become the calm..."
Pinned, the Devourer listened to the chant and felt the power gathering in Gusion's hand, struggling as he roared:
"F*ck you! You're using Shinigami skills in a Kengan match!?"
But Gusion locked eyes on him, chanting unhurriedly:
"...The sound of warring spears fills the empty castle! Hadō #63—Raikōhō!"
With the chant's end, a thunderous beam shot out, blasting the Devourer.
No surprise—this was his ultimate move, using all remaining soul source. Even Shen Wulong couldn't survive this level of Hadō. As the lightning struck, the Devourer's body disintegrated instantly.
Hearing the mission-complete sound in his ear, Gusion relaxed. His body was on the verge of collapse, and his soul source was spent. It was the first time he'd used such a high-level spell in actual combat—just as exhausting as he'd thought.
High-level Hadō required spiritual pressure. For him, it was barely doable, but he couldn't let the violator escape—he had to kill in one blow, or who knew what trouble would follow.
Gusion spat more blood—the overload of Demon God mode had ravaged him. At least the missions were done; once he returned to the space, he'd be healed.
He straightened up, scanned the area, smiled at the approaching Kure clan members, and waved.
"See you around."
With that, he mentally recited: "The End Space, Return."
…
Meanwhile, several missile trails rose over the coast, colliding in the sky into brilliant fireworks.
Katahara Metsudo watched from the beach, cane in hand, smiling on his aged face. "Don't underestimate a nation's power, wors."
He turned toward Kure City. "So, my strongest fang, did you defeat this world's peak?"
…
A flash of white light—Gusion landed in his room.
[Detected: 18 tendon ruptures, 9 bone fractures, multiple internal bleeds… Vital Source below 30%. Initiating treatment…]
He immediately floated into the air, a cool sensation wrapping his body. He wanted to object—he'd have preferred to wait for his soul energy to recover and use his own healing, saving Endcoins.
But the End Space was too overbearing—no chance to refuse, it just started healing him.
After a while, Gusion landed, feeling completely refreshed—good as new.
[Treatment cost: 1,123 Endcoins, automatically deducted from your balance.]
Gusion wanted to curse the End Space for its forced sales, but after flexing his limbs and feeling the perfect healing—far better than his own—he let it go.
"End Space, settlement."
Time to settle up—Gusion was looking forward to the world rewards. After all, he'd cleared the Kengan world in one go, and quite efficiently.

The rewards this time were much richer than the last world—not only more options but more picks.
After some thought, Gusion felt his luck was decent, but didn't trust chests—so he skipped those.
He chose A, B, E, and F—the safest and most profitable.
Thirty thousand Endcoins was a fortune. With the extra income from the female explorer Eve, and after deducting healing costs, he still had over 41,000 left—enough to buy good items on the market.
Since he trained his specializations quickly, he didn't plan to use Inheritance Crystals for those. Whether to sell them or use them for special skills would be decided after seeing his Origin Seed's ability.
