-Roxy Delgado:
As I watched Mateo walk out of the guest bedroom after we finished talking about the accident and what we are going to be doing about the Serranos situation this morning, I knew I couldn't sit this one out.
I slowly hobbled back into my bedroom, leaning heavily on my crutches, every movement deliberate.
The ache in my leg reminded me it wasn't fully healed yet, but I pushed it to the back of my mind. My body was sore, yes, but my mind was sharper than ever. Tonight was different. Mateo's words earlier still echoed in my head. The seriousness of what was unfolding within the club pressed on me like an unshakable weight. This wasn't about healing anymore. Tonight, it was about showing up and making my presence felt.
I know he said I need to stay home and rest, but I can't just sit and do nothing, I need to at least be with them at the club before they decide to do anything about the Serranos.
