"Did she really do it?" Theo asks once they're alone, his voice low and uncertain.
Mira doesn't answer immediately. She lowers her gaze, trying to think clearly, trying to decide what would be best in this moment.
She just wants everything to settle without drama, to allow herself the space to investigate slowly, piece by piece, until she uncovers everything Morgana is hiding.
She is certain that there's no way the insemination could have just been a mistake.
There has to be more to it. Morgana must be doing something...
Another thought rushes in her mind forcefully, that she cannot let Morgana remain in Eryx's life, because it's clear she doesn't truly love him, not in the way someone should... not with care or respect.
Or maybe she thinks she loves him, but it isn't love. It's obsession. Because if she loved him, she wouldn't have killed his child.
