She watched the door close, as he stepped out of her room, sighing as it clicked shut.
Slowly, she turned back to face the room, taking in all of the details. The supporting lights that hung on the walls, the beautiful dressing table, the large bed, the smooth walls, the warm rug.
Technically, she had four incredibly stocked bedrooms at different parts of the city. Not scary at all.
She took slow steps to the bed, sitting gently on the bench even though she knew it wouldn't give way under her weight.
She ran her hand across the cotton duvet on the bed, sighing at how soft it felt against her palm, unable to stop her mind from thinking of how much it must have cost.
Shaking the thought away, she got up from the bed, giving it one last look before heading to one of the doors in the room, hoping it was the closet.
