Ficool

Chapter 3 - Meeting the boys.

Approaching the building, her very sensitive nostrils caught on to something that made the warning signs in her head blare louder than ever. Shock and fear glinted in her eyes as she saw his figure closing in on her... like a lion to its prey.

"Shit! " She cursed out loud. "How is that even possible?!" Screaming, she turned around, dashing east, making a beeline to their pack border.

She wasn't sure how she expected to out run an Alpha male, or why she was heading for their pack border, but there was no fucking way she was going down without a fight.

She pumped her feet hard into the soft soil, which made running in her human form even harder than she expected.

She carried on running for a while, actively fighting down the feeling of frustration that crept into her mind, as she heard his heavy footsteps slowly closing the distance between them.

The fact that he hadn't closed in on her made her frustration worsen. It was as if he was taking his time, letting her think she could win somehow.

Asshole.

She contemplated shifting to her feline form but couldn't trust her bitchy wolf to not betray her, so she kept pushing.

Seeing the border fence a few kilometers from where she was elicited warm hope within her, causing her to pump her already burning legs harder, her heart feeling lighter with every meter she covered, until she smelt him again. Three times more than ever.

She has never felt so afraid and intoxicated in her life.

She looked around her, trying to decipher where exactly he stood, but she couldn't see anything; all she could see were trees and a clearing not too far from where she stood.

The Border! Her heart leapt with pure joy.

Eyeing the clearing, she began running again, pushing her screaming limbs. But then she tripped on something, falling face first, until she didn't..

She was floating... no, hanging! On what?! She struggled to get back on her feet, but she was pulled into something so hard and warm.

It smelt so damn good...

She tried looking back to see what was holding her, but the 'thing' wasn't having it.

She looked down to see a very large pair of strong, hairy, veiny arms, wrapped around her torso, that were currently tingling in joy.

"Let me go, you dumb fuck!!" She screamed, squirming in his arms, but stopped when she realized his grip was getting tighter.

"What is this?! Tell him I do not want him! I reject mphh..." She was cut off and flipped upside down by one of the men surrounding her.

"I'd release you so long as you promise to listen to us." The one holding her proposed, his voice silky as hell. His proposal shocked her, but seeing how weak she was to fight against them both physically and mentally, she gave in.

There was only so much an Omega like her could do.

"Fine." She said, relaxing her stance. "But you have to move away from me."

"Not a chance, princess." He said smugly, making her huff in annoyance, flipping her over.

"Fine." She said, and he relaxed his grip, giving her a chance to pull away.

It wasn't until she moved to the side and looked up to all three of them that she heard her wolf purr in her mind.

"MATE"

'Mate?' She thought, questioning in her head, her eyebrows knitting together.

Looking at all three, she tried to decipher which of them was truly her mate.

Still not understanding, she turned to the other person, who had been purring in her head since she was captured.

'Care to explain, Miss Maria?' She questioned in her head but received no response from her mate, who apparently was 'entranced ' by the men before her. 'Answer me, damn it!' she scolded in frustration.

'They are our mates! Isn't it obvious?' Maria said, visibly pissed.

'Mates? How is that even possible? Is that even allowed?' She questioned in confusion. Her head was beginning to feel heavy.

She was feeling so many things at the same time.

'They are our mates. Accept them already!' Maria said incredulously, not understanding why Beth was delaying.

They were her fated mates. She had three mates. And so?

Unlike Bethany, Maria was a free wolf. She didn't overthink; rather, she sometimes 'over-acts'. Without thinking. Like at the moment.

Bethany, on the other hand, was happy. Very elated, but scared, worried, and confused.

She felt suffocated, and being an overthinker wasn't helping her situation at all.

No doubt, she had always wanted attention, in a good way, and a good and powerful mate as well, but now she got... three?! Three freaking Alphas!

It scared her shitless.

Looking up at all three of them, she didn't know what to feel.

Surely she could feel the sparks on her torso from where she was held earlier and the weight of their emotions on her shoulders as their gaze pierced through her skin.

But she wasn't sure of what she wanted to feel. She tried to think of a way out of the situation, racking her unresponsive brain. But it felt like everything was working against her at that moment.

Sensing her utter confusion and fear, Theo-the youngest - cleared his throat, commanding her entire attention.

"Hi, I'm Theo." He said, his voice as smooth as silk, making her heart thump faster. He stretched his arm forward, hoping it didn't seem too awkward to get a handshake.

'I know your name, you dimwit!' Bethany wanted to swear but was still in shock, so her lips weren't cooperating.

Taking in a deep breath, she pushed all of her thoughts to the back of her mind, deciding to think of them later.

"Hi, I'm Bethany. Bethany Sage." She said, putting out an arm to return his handshake, a bit nervous to touch him, but did it regardless.

She couldn't help but shudder visibly when she felt the wave of electricity that coursed through her veins at their contact.

She subconsciously looked up to him to see if he felt it as well, and seeing how dark his look was, she didn't need any more confirmation.

It was gonna be a long night.
