Chapter 2 - The awakening

Lutero took a deep breath, still coming to terms with his new form. The wind whispered through the leaves above, and everything around him felt... far too real to be just a dream within a coma.

Then, a faint sound drew his attention—almost imperceptible—the shifting of a hand, the low sigh of someone stirring.

Adric Silver was the first to open his eyes. They gleamed a vivid green, momentarily dazzled by the gentle light filtering through the treetops. For a moment, he looked confused, as if he'd been pulled from the middle of a long reading session.

— M-Master Lutero...? — he murmured, sitting up with difficulty. — Is this... Yggdrasil?

Moments later, Ragnar Silver stirred with a low grunt. His long crimson hair spilled over his shoulders as his hand instinctively reached for the sword at his side—ready to fight before he even understood where he was.

— What the hell is this place...?

Roberth Silver opened his eyes calmly, though tension pulsed through every muscle. His gaze swept the trees with silent precision.

— The canopy... it's not the same as the Inner Forest — he said quietly. — Something's wrong.

The young assassin rose almost noiselessly. His eyes scanned the clearing before locking onto Lutero.

— Master... have we been teleported? But… who would dare pull us from the Silver Chambers without warning?

Lutero stood at the center of the clearing, the weight of their questions crashing down on him. But even he had no answers—only a rising sense of unease... a discomfort that told him something had torn them from their places. And it wasn't part of the game. He remembered, vividly, the darkness that swallowed him whole—the kind that only comes before one thing: death.

Before he could respond, a soft glow shimmered through the trees. The air seemed to pulse lightly... and then Elyra Silver awakened.

Her rose-colored eyes shimmered gently as they opened, and for a brief moment she remained still, serene, as if listening to a melody no one else could hear.

— I... felt a calling — she whispered.

She sat up slowly, her long pink hair dancing with the breeze. When her gaze found Lutero's, she smiled faintly, as if recognizing him with more than just sight—with her soul.

Soon after, Nyssia Silver let out a sharp sigh and jolted awake, like someone escaping a suffocating dream. Her violet eyes widened with suspicion.

— This isn't my lab — she muttered, rising with elegance but alert. — And my magic... it feels strange. Stronger. More... alive.

She reached for a small flask from her belt. The liquid inside bubbled with restless energy, almost as if it were alive.

Finally, Althaea Silver slowly opened her eyes. Her body rose almost like a drifting mist. She looked around, her violet gaze scanning something beyond the material world.

— There are many spirits here... but none recognize me — her voice was airy, like a whisper carried on the wind. — This place seems like Yggdrasil. But it is not.

A chill traced down Lutero's spine. He needed answers. Instinctively, he raised his right hand and spoke:

— Open interface.

Immediately, a translucent panel materialized in front of him. But it was not like before. No map. No server list. No trace of the world he'd known.

Only him.
