Sylas invited Barry into his study. He felt a strange vibration when he saw the man. He couldn't guess his age. Barry's face was strikingly handsome, and his aura radiated with unusual strength.
His footsteps seemed to melt into the surroundings, giving off a powerful sense of protection.
"Welcome, Lord Barry," Sylas greeted him. Amos had told him who their leader was, and Sylas recognized him immediately when the figure appeared in the courtroom.
"Nice to meet you, Your Majesty." Barry smiled as he sat where Sylas indicated.
Sylas stared at the snake-shaped cane with diamond eyes. "That's beautiful," he praised.
But he immediately widened his eyes when the cane suddenly emitted a white light.
Barry smiled. "You made it blush, Your Majesty."
Sylas was mesmerized, his eyes fixed on the cane. "It's… alive?"
Barry did not answer directly. "It has energy."
"Impressive," Sylas murmured as he sat in his chair.
