Dear diary....
I saw him today....again...his cute but charming smile and his dreamy face....his perfect shape jawline....and of course his outstanding height....but he didn't notice me....and it hurt a lot...I could still remember the first day he" bewitched me" just as Nelly says....ooh fyi she's my bestie.... because how does one explain my infatuation/obsession or rather love to this gorgeous man,....
We were studying algebra....a rather boring unit in mathematics that bored the hell out of me...to think I'd sleep the whole lesson... shamelessly, a knock was heard at our classroom door and there he stood... clueless I mean damn he was hot...the fact that everyone turned to the door was really hysteric....I mean what in the name of Jesus was that!!...Jerome ....the man who Uknown to me was going to be a root to my problems when I think about it but back then he was my prince charming....funny right!
He entered class.... suspending aura as he walked in with his black back pack that was enscripted " The Man" in bold red letters...don't you question how I remember all this details because c'mon....he was my first crush...I just had to capture them details...as he opened his mouth fr the first time....to think he'd talk in an American accent only to be shocked to hear him speak in a British accent....now that was my type totally....my elder sis once told me I was a creep....but naah let's leave it at that and continue....
Now this is where I got pulled in...there was only one empty chair... and that was besides Marlin....yeah she was the type of girl who every guy swooned upon.... including my bestie knight....I mean she wasn't a hotcake....all she had was beautiful long blonde hair that was silky soft and her big perfect shaped boobs no judging...like actually we were 14 yrs old how in the name of God were some of us with barren chests have to deal with that This is where Alex... Nelly's boyfriend would say crickey in his Australian accent...but damn people being people, they had to exaggerate her beauty in everything...you know what, she had this mole on her face in between her nose and mouth...the fact that people saw it charming really gave me the creeps....now if Jesse read this he would cry and give me the silent treatment for two days.... yeah he was obsessed with her to the point of him picturing himself in an alter with her... getting married.... what could be more funny than this...
Rumors also spread that she had already experienced her menses....ohh and she bragged,, so much that her face really irritated me...I still can't believe that there was a time I prayed and fasted wishing for my periods....but that's a story for another day....so actually Jerome sat beside Marlin and I could see her smile wickedly....as she flicked her hair in a flirty manner....at that same time a thought in my head popped up.." The witch she is....to think she'll also get on him"...this really stressed me out
That day I didn't sleep during the rest of the Algebra class...funny enough I was doodling on my maths book while studying the masterpiece, Jerome!...Funny enough Jesse hated Jerome....this really proved helpful to me since I would defend my self when I bad-mouthed Marlin by hitting him up with the fact that he also hated Jerome and bad mouthed him....Lessons continued until 3 pm....my favorite lesson time... Physical Education....I loved it because it didn't involve thinking and most importantly calculation....Now Jerome loved swimming but he was poor in basketball....that was a draw back since my future boyfriend was one that played it....but nevertheless I didn't mind.....
One thing really got to my nerves really and I Know it's effortless to point it out but Marlin was our Mathematics teacher's pet...but in the gym I was our teacher's pet and this really levelled up with her....but this day was my worst....I really wished to die...but Jerome's face kept me going....
Turns out my periods had commenced....and after sitting down when I was tired it stained my white gym shorts... everyone in my class knew that I was on my menses that day including Jerome whom I wished to know what he thought.... Nelly came to me running and she wrapped my waist with her jumper....I just couldn't tolerate it.... everyone was looking at me including Jerome....I just rushed out embarrassed and already with suicidal thoughts in my head... My social life was over.... Marlin had 3 points and I had none....she was winning him....
I reached home so down casted....that day I didn't wanna see or talk to anyone....to think my old man would give me advice on it as mum had visited aunty Jackie,, really cringed me up...but he was trying.....I guess,since that day I marked him...
This was going to be my unforgeable spring....
