"You really don't know anything about the Undead Society?"
"Ah, so this is how the Soul Search feels. It really feels like every part of me is being laid out in front of you." Tucker said in a voice of enjoyment as I was looking at him with a surprised look.
Even though I was using the Soul Search spell on him, he wasn't feeling any pain at all.
That was because he wasn't actually resisting the Soul Search spell.
The Soul Search spell would only hurt the target if they tried to resist it.
After all, the Soul Search spell was something that used one's mana to forcefully search a person's soul. That meant that if someone were to resist this Soul Search, they would have to do it either with the strength of their soul or their mana.
The clashing of these powers would harm the soul of the person being searched.
This was where the pain that was associated with the Soul Search spell came from.
But if one didn't resist, then there was no clash and no pain.
