It's Saturday afternoon Su Nian was returning from college and came in front of an old man who was sitting clutching his chest on a bench near a vacant side of the park on the way. His face ashen, his breath coming in shallow, desperate gasps.
She knelt beside the old man,made the Old man lie on the bench and her touch light and practiced as she took his pulse. The rhythm was erratic, a frantic butterfly beating against her fingertips. With a swift movement, she pulled a small leather pouch from her basket and unrolled a cloth filled with fine, silver needles.
Su Nian sterilized a needle over a small flame from an oil lamp nearby. Her hands, though young, moved with the precision of a master artisan. The crowd watched, a mix of skepticism and desperate hope on their faces, as she selected a needle and gently inserted it into a point on the old man's wrist. He flinched slightly, but otherwise remained still. Su Nian worked quickly and confidently, placing a series of fine needles along his meridians.
Within moments, a change came over Old Man . His ragged breathing began to even out. The clammy pallor of his skin gave way to a healthier flush. A collective gasp rippled through the crowd.
Su Nian withdrew the needles, her movements as fluid as a mountain stream. She then reached into her pouch again and produced a small, carved wooden bottle. She tipped a single drop of a viscous, amber liquid onto the old man's lips. The sweet, medicinal scent of herbs filled the air.
Su Nian smiled, her quiet confidence now a radiant warmth. "Old Man, You have to rest now. "
and visit the hospital for a proper check up."

" Have you investigated the girl who saved me this morning?"Old master Lin asked his butler.
"Yes master, I found out that the girl was the elder daughter of the Su family and she is studying with your grandson and your grandson failed to woo her for some time."
" Then send a marriage proposal to the Su family until it is too late to make this girl my daughter in law."

Three years passed quickly. In this three years the relationship between Su Nian and Lin Ray progressed well.
During graduation Su Nian started internship at Lin Corp and started to help grandpa Lin to manage the company in secret. She became managing director in head office after passing graduation and Grandpa Lin was impressed with her.
Three years ago after getting marriage proposal from Lin family Su family members were happy and not to disrupt family harmony Su Nian accepted the arrangement but asked for time for further consideration. In these three years Lin Ray took care of her well and moved her heart a little. So she accepted the engagement a year ago. Lin Ray went abroad for further study for three years and they decided to marry after returning.
Six months ago Old Master Lin faced an accident saving Su Nian and his legs got paralyzed after the accident. Old Master Lin gave most of his power to Su Nian to handle the Lin Corp temporarily in his absence and Su Nian has taken the duty of taking care of him which made most of the Lin Family members unhappy.
After taking over the company duties Su Nian took the Lin Corp in another hight and became popular among the employees. She also gained trust and loyalty of most of the shareholders. This made the family members afraid of her and started to think that she will take over the company fully in the future and they will lose control over her.
This made them to start their scheming against her.
