**Luna (guild receptionist):**
"We've got a rare Chimera sighting on the outskirts. Any parties willing to take the quest?"
**Kazuma (raising his hand half-heartedly):**
"We'll take it... as long as *those guys* come too."
**Aqua:** "I still don't trust that fairy! She messed with my bathwater!"
**Ramiris (zipping around):** "It's called *hot springs science*, lady!"
**Milim:** "You had a BOSS MONSTER SIGHTING and you're just now telling me?! Let's GO!"
**Megumin (fist clenched):** "I shall unleash... the grand explosion!"
**Kazuma (to Rimuru):** "Please supervise her."
**Rimuru (sighs):** "You're asking *me* to be the sane one?"
**Ciel (with audible weariness):**
> *"Regrettably, yes. You are the closest thing to responsible in this group."*

**\[Scene: Outside Axel – Forest Clearing]**
The Chimera appears—snarling, multi-headed, magical aura crackling.
**Kazuma (gripping sword nervously):** "Alright, guys, we'll need strategy. We'll flank it, bait its attacks—"
**Milim (already charging):** "KNUCKLE METEOR!"
**BOOOOM!**
The Chimera is launched into the stratosphere before Kazuma finishes his sentence.
**Kazuma (stunned):** "...Huh?"
**Aqua:** "W-Wasn't that supposed to be a boss?"
**Darkness (trembling):** "She's... terrifying... can she hit *me* next?"
**Megumin:** "I've found my spirit sister!"
**Kazuma (voice cracking):** "WHY ARE ALL OF YOU LIKE THIS?!"

**\[Scene: Post-Chimera Cleanup – Crater]**
**Rimuru (scanning with Magic Sense):** "Yep. No pieces left."
**Ciel:**
> *"Target atomized. I recommend damage compensation forms for the Guild."*
**Kazuma:** "WHAT kind of skill was that?!"
**Rimuru:** "Milim's... casual morning punch. Not even serious."
**Vanir (suddenly appears, tipping his mask):**
"Oho\~! I sense an overwhelming aura of chuunibyou and destruction. Who are these interlopers, hmm?"
**Veldora (stepping forward dramatically):** "Foolish demon! I am the Storm Dragon Veldora Tempest! Your dark aura cannot match MY grandeur!"
**Vanir:** "I accept your duel, scaled overlord!"
**Kazuma (freaking out):** "No! No duels! We'll blow up the continent at this rate!"
**Megumin (excitedly):** "Let them fight!"
**Ramiris (flying between them):** "Wait wait wait—this forest can't survive TWO drama kings!"

**A massive gouge lies across the land. The forest animals have evacuated. The Chimera's original territory is now a hot spring.**
**Aqua (shaking):** "They're not adventurers. They're NATURAL DISASTERS WITH LEGS!"
**Kazuma (on the ground):** "I miss dying to cabbages. It was peaceful."
**Darkness:** "My heart has never pounded so fast. I've found my true calling... being crushed by gods..."
**Megumin (clapping Milim's hand):** "Explosion soul sisters unite!"
**Milim (sparkling with joy):** "We're the Booooom BFFs!"
**Rimuru (awkwardly smiling):** "You okay, Kazuma?"
**Kazuma:** "I don't know whether to worship you... or run."
**Ciel (amused):**
> *"Worship is the correct option. Running is ineffective."*

**\[Scene: Evening – Guild Tavern Celebration]**
**Luna:** "Thanks to your group, the Chimera threat has been eliminated... and so has half the forest."
**Kazuma (sipping ale):** "You're welcome... I think."
**Rimuru:** "Don't worry. I'll help restore it with magic later."
**Aqua (staring at Rimuru):** "You're a slime. Why are you more competent than me?!"
**Ramiris (cheekily):** "Because he has *Ciel*. You've got... Kazuma."
**Kazuma (groaning):** "Low blow."
**Megumin:** "We should stick with them! Think of the explosions!"
**Vanir (brushing ash off his cape):** "And I must study that dragon further. Such flair... such magnificent overacting!"
**Veldora (posing):** "Yes! I shall co-author a play with you!"
**Kazuma:** "This world is doomed."
