"What the actual heck?" Victoria raised an eyebrow while she let out a sharp scoff. "You're planning to kill the bodyguard? Why would you kill someone innocent just for your own gain?"
"Why not?" Leo replied, one hand drifting to his hip as if the movement proved a point. "Like I said… he should be grateful. Besides, that's his fate in this life .... to die for me while I occupy his body but then an invisible force is blocking me from claiming his body."
Victoria's brow climbed higher. She planted both hands on her hips, heat and disbelief in her posture. "So… all these times you've been going to his quarters, it was just you trying to kill him and snatch his body?"
Leo shrugged, a lazy, unapologetic motion. "Exactly. It's the only way to start my own test too. If I inhabit his form I can be seen by everyone,be able to do certain things and of course still protect you."
