After getting out of the bathroom, Shinji saw a system message.

He can't exclude the fact that his teacher is almost like his friend's family; it would make him feel awful, but he didn't.

He didn't know why it was itching. He wanted to remove those clothes, but Sakura took his clothes.
Being naked in front of many people wasn't really his thing.

Shirou felt weird, it wasn't a sarcastic apology, but seemingly a real one.
Shirou felt closer to Shinji today than through all those years.
'Shapeshifting doesn't seem useful... I could use it to hide between people, but not useful against people who can destroy half or even the entire city in seconds...'
Saber noticed that Shinji was lost in thought; they hadn't been formally presented yet.
She had seen Shinji use Shirou or Sakura as a pushover in her visions.
She didn't feel any falsehood in his actions, just a normal friend doing a sudden visit.
'Are the visions really true?' She thought.
She saw how he tried to act rudely before, but the acting was so sloppy that it just seemed like someone trying to be modest.
'Mystic Eyes... I could choose some powerful ones, like death perception, but I am sure my body wouldn't be able to hold that much power.'¹
His safest choice was obvious.
Choosing Magecraft, his head was filled with knowledge, not only of the Matou family, but also of others. He knew he couldn't use some, not only were his Magic Circuits weren't strong enough his brain wasn't powerful enough to process all information needed to cast them.
Still, a smile opened on his face.
Saber, who was still staring at him, couldn't help but blush. Shinji wasn't ugly; he was just a bit better looking than Shirou.²
She didn't expect him to smile at her, then she thought of his womanizer nature.
'Maybe he's after me?' and couldn't help but frown, from her memories, she dated Shirou quite a bit, she was loyal to him as his servant, repeating it many times in her vision made her feel weird.
Her wish was to destroy the grail as she believed it to be the right thing to do.
Still, this Shinji wasn't half bad, but it wouldn't happen, Shirou was her master, and so she should be close to him, even if she doesn't love him.

He brought a raise in intelligence to D, making his ability to use magecraft evolve.
Still seeing the limitations, he evolved his magic circuit to D.
He then noticed the price to raise his stats to C was 2 points.
Nonetheless, he opted to raise his strength, going from E+ to D-.³

'Yes,' Shinji didn't know what would happen. He knew those stats didn't change body mass on the person, even though some child had a higher strength stat than some adults.³
He felt Shirou's shirt tighten slightly.
Shinji had muscles; not only was he in the archery club, but he also had great stamina due to his night activities with the girls from his club.
Shinji then finally noticed the blonde girl seated close by.
"Ah, pardon me." He said, noticing he was being rude this whole time.
"I'm Shinji, Matou Shinji, Shirou's friend," with a small bow.
Getting flustered by the way Shinji acted, she said with a small stutter, "I-I'm Elise, Elise Watoson."
¹ I am more of a Tsukihime fan than Fate, just wanted to say it was kind of reward, like Ryougi can use her death perception freely cuz she has a backing, Nanaya/Tohno can't use it freely cuz he has no backing, death perception is a power that grows the more you use it, MC doesn't have special glasses so he would be using it 24/7, even if he survived the HGW he wouldn't survive long.
² No canon source stating anything, I am just assuming it by how both are portrayed by people outside the main heroines.
Taiga just considers him a bad influence on Shirou(as if Shirou needed a bad influence)
The other girls: He's popular, might be due to him being way more sociable and an important member of the archery club(I guess, archery is popular or something, I don't know)
This is just based on appearance and not their personality, and just saying... If it's my opinion you want to hear: Even Og Shinji is a better personality-wise, I can't take a hypocrite over an arrogant person. Both are bad, but only one I can punch freely.
³ Yeah, it doesn't make sense, I guess it might make sense considering magic buffs/reinforcements, but still, weird to see some grown buff men being weaker than a child.
