Damon's gaze softened. "Master…"
I raised my hands, cutting his words off. "I want to rest." I turned away from him, resting my head on the tree.
"As you wish." He said reluctantly before going back to his resting spot.
The moment he left, tears streamed down my face. 'Don't panic Ember, you'll find a way out of this.' I chanted in my head.
Today's encounter with the mysterious lady reminded me of my past life. She saw through me, my shoulders trembled.
'Go with the wind, wherever it might take you.' White the butterfly voice rang through my head.
"The wind is turning to a cyclone now, I wonder if I'll be able to survive it," I muttered under my breath.
I closed my eyes, deep down I still felt incomplete… "Lyla," I muttered unconsciously. My hands clenched tightly, my brows furrowed.
The memories of her danced at the edge of my mind. I felt like there was too much going on in my life that I could not fathom it all.
'Should I tell Damon?' One part of my mind suggested.
